Nice cottages, pretty village and great staff. Nice breakfast with a lot of birds. Kevin helped us out and also organises beautiful tours. We only stayed 2 nights but would have stayed longer. The floating is highly recommended!

This was by far our favorite stop during our week long tour of Costa Rica last month. Alex welcomed us like family! The grounds are beautiful, wildlife is plentiful, the rooms are clean and unique, and the breakfast can't be beat! I would highly recommend to anyone!!!

We stayed at La Posada Andrea Cristina for four nights, in one of the tree houses. The owner, Alex, has created a little slice of jungle heaven on the side of the busy main road. We've met many lovely people in our 9 months (and counting) of travel on this trip through Europe and now in CR, and Alex is...

Great place!! We didn't have a reservation, but were warmly welcomed and given the choice of a normal room or treehouse, both of which looked comfortable and bright. We couldn't say no to the 'tree-room', with the trunk of the tree coming up through the middle of the large room and a view into the canopy from the 'balcony'. A...

Everything was perfect at this place! Good breakfasts, nice garden, colorful birds, sloths in the trees, and a very caring Kevin (son of the owner I think). Very helpful at organizing tours and assisting travelers. This place is close to the road and YES, you do hear some trucks breaking, but this was not an issue at night (even if...

My husband and I have stayed at Posada Andrea Cristina many times and each year we look forward to another visit. Alex Martinez and his family are excellent hosts. Alex makes the best breakfast you will find in Costa Rica. His homemade bread is amazing and the fresh fruit is delicious! His backyard is a lush rainforest with birds everywhere....

We spent just 1 night in Posada Andrea Cristina, but it was a great time. Cabins are located in a beautiful garden with lots of birds. Host is very firendly and has a big knowledge about wild life. Breakfast is big and tasty, we had the best bread ever in Costa Rica, baked personally by the host. During a breakfast...

We stayed here as part of our family Eco tour and although this wasn't the accommodations we were supposed to have, I selected it for the experience. Alex was very welcoming to our group of 2 families. We were each put in the tree houses which was awesome to the older kids but not to our almost 1 year old....

Sleeping in a tree house is everybody's dream. Alex has done a great job creating a beautiful and whimsical room. In his garden we saw the cutest animal of our trip: a baby ant-eater. Thank you Alex for showing us the scarlet macaw couple and introducing us to the white pineapple.
