Lovely small-medium sized campground in excellent location on the Otago Peninsula. Situated on the main peninsula road (the Portobello Road) roughly in the middle between Dunedin and Taiaroa Head - so good for city visiting (Dunedin is 11 miles South West), Albatross/Penguin spotting (Taiaroa is 11 miles North East) and visiting Larnach Castle (3 miles South West). Very friendly and... More

This is a lovely peaceful park in a rural location, close to the village amenities, and ideally located for Dunedin and the Royal Albatross Sanctuary. Although it's not that big, the toilets and showers are clean and there are laundry and cooking facilities. We took the local bus into Dunedin, which was much better than taking the campervan and trying... More

Recently stayed in this establishment (April 2016) in a Queen ensuite room. Picked this park because of the location halfway out the Otago Peninsular - spectacular views on the way out and close to the albatross colony. Room was all you could want with comfy queen sized bed, ensuite and kitchenette. Very warm and caught the afternoon sun. free wifi.... More

Lovely camp site! The owner is very friendly and the site is very clean. There is a full equipped kitchen with even a TV and DVD player :) We slept in our tent, so I don't know how the rooms are. Bathrooms and kitchen were clean when we were there. Everything is in short walking distance. We were happy with... More

We had a Cabin with Queen Bed, not far to walk to the Hotel for dinner, a long drive from Dunedin though. The only thing I can fault is there was no wardrobe to hang your cloths in?? So we had to leave our big suit cases in the room with us.

Stopped near for 2 nights. Receptionist was quite brusque and not very helpful. We took the high route to get there but found the low route much better on our return in our campervan. No cliffside drops! Site had a good kitchen area which is popular, showers are hot. Our site had power, tap and waste disposal. Quiet site.

We decided to take our 3 young grandchildren camping for a night during the holidays, this tourist park was a fabulous find. The location is great with only a two minute flat walk to the village and a five minute stroll to a super adventure playground. The facilities were great with nice hot showers. Wished we could have stayed longer,... More

I'd read the tripadvisor reviews and have to agree that customer service wasn't really on this receptionists list of courses to take. Despite that this was an OK campsite with decent facilities and very close to the local bar/restaurant for our evening meal.

We booked the night before and got a cabin with ensuite, the room was clean, parking at the door, gas hot water with a nice size kitchenette and comfy bed. Food nearby is limited, if you don't know the area well, so it was handy that we had shopped in Dunedin before arriving, there are two main restaurants down the... More

We found this park such a pleasure to stay in, such an extremely nice park, the managers bent over backwards to help. This park is in such a breathtaking area, thankfully you can't get fuel on the Otago peninsula, which means we went out the coastal road then halfway back the hilly way(road closure), half way back again and finally...
