I enjoyed everything about this hotel. Rooms are big, very clean and bed is comfortable. The staff are willing to go all the way to make you happy. Service is very good. The food is delicious with loads of different dishes and the desserts are to die for. If you want a family friendly hotel with loads of activities to keep you busy and make you happy, then this is that hotel.

Enjoyed a delightful stay at this Turkish-style hotel, where the friendly staff fluently speak English and German, making communication a breeze. The atmosphere is wonderfully relaxing, and the pool area is a highlight of the property. Don't miss the Turkish Tent, offering traditional Ayran and delectable oven-cooked foods. While the selection of free of charge alcoholic drinks is a bit restricted, like JW Red Label on the house, the Balkon Bar stands out with its exceptional cocktails, surpassing the other bars in quality. A major thumbs up for the engaging night programs, rounding off a truly enjoyable experience.

Stayed for a week at end of October Hotel is very impressive, looks like a palace inside and out. Holds it own amongst other grand hotels on the Lara strip Room was huge with one double, one single and one foldaway type bed Beds were comfy, although pillows a little lumpy. Only one bedcover which was in-between a bed sheet and a duvet Minibar in the fridge refilled everyday with water, fizzy drinks and beers - great touch Balcony was facing back up towards the main strip and a little loud with noise seemingly from a generator. Still nice to use Bathroom no complaints and of a good standard as was the room overall Only complaint was that the AC didn’t work well even though on the lowest setting Only other negative was the WiFi throughout the hotel was not great. However this is also a bonus as you wouldn’t get inconsiderate guests streaming videos etc everywhere you went which sadly seems the norm nowadays Also the dining rooms at peak times were too crowded and the queues to get food could get a bit overwhelming Booked the Chinese and Mexican a la carte restaurants. Happy with the food and service (very friendly waiter in the Mexican, can’t remember his name but he was from Denizli and I think also covered the lobby bar) The big guy covering the midnight shift in the lobby bar made an awesome Long Island Iced Tea Overall the staff were amazing and very friendly. The silver-haired lifeguard aged about 50 was one of the loveliest guys I’d ever met Sorry we were having such a great time to remember names! Virtually all of the staff had some level of spoken English in a hotel that seems to have a large contingent of German guests I’d say Germans were the most populous by a long way. Probably an even number of Russians and UK nationals and a handful of others - French, Italian, Dutch, Eastern Europeans. Vast majority of guests polite and courteous, hotel seems to attract a decent crowd Pools, slides etc good standard and well maintained. Beach and pier area nicely maintained. Just about enough sun loungers to go around even though hotel was fully booked Food good, enjoyed the snacks from the amphi area and Turkish tent. Midnight snack area was appreciated as we arrived in the small hours Mini funfair for children. Including bumper cars, Ferris wheel, swinging pirate ship etc Entertainment was good, although we weren’t too impressed with a couple of the evening shows (Best Couple and the Mr Royal nights). Most evenings the entertainment continued with various offerings such as live music and bingo. Sound system could do with a service as the life band cut out a little during one of their songs Couldn’t get a late checkout as hotel was full but able to continue to enjoy the facilities and have a shower in the spa Would recommend and would return

This was a fantastic holiday. oct/nov 2023. This resort is amazing, definitely lives up to the name ‘Palace’ . Rooms were huge . so much to do especially for the children, from fun fair to water slides. Staff work so hard to keep everything clean and provide a good guest experience. The food is brilliant, the best we have had anywhere. Great choice and availability all through the day. Very pleased 5*

We stayed at this hotel as a family of 7 and overall had a lovely time. The pool is huge which allowed us to always get sunbeds. Our first morning we were late to the pool and ended up with sunbeds in the shade. Later in the afternoon we were able to move. A lot of people did reserve sunbeds early morning and did not return to them until late afternoon. Although annoying, we did manage to get 6/7 beds everyday, so it wasn’t an issue to us. The pool is freezing!! Lovely in the afternoon once it’s really hot though. The waterslides are great, our 8 year old loved them (as did we) really fast and hardly ever a big queue for them. Two lifeguards manning them all the time which is great. The walkway/bridge takes you down to the beach and the pier. Personally, for us, the beach was too crowded so we didn’t use it. The pier is lovely, we went down and had drinks a few times. Lots of sunbeds if you wanted to sunbath and you can jump into the sea off the pier. There are ladders to climb back up. The sea was really warm. The hotel itself is really clean. There is a man around the pool area cleaning constantly. He’s so happy and a really lovely staff member. All the staff at the hotel are amazing. Really friendly and helpful. Especially the staff at the teppanyaki restaurant, they could not do enough for you. Such a fun experience which was really made so much more enjoyable due to the staff. The rooms are really spacious, we did upgrade our rooms so not sure what the standard rooms are like. One thing that really did cause issues were the terrible beds and pillows. I don’t think I have ever experienced such an awful bed. They are so hard it was like sleeping on the floor. You can upgrade your pillow but at a cost. The other downside to the room was the lighting, it was really dark, even with all the lights on. This made getting ready for the evening a little annoying as I do like to see what I’m doing. Food at this hotel is not good. None of us are fussy eaters but we all struggled a little with the food. The fresh grilled areas were ok but a few nights I found the meat was undercooked. I think the volume of guests makes it difficult for the chefs to keep up with the amount of food they need to cook, so it’s all a bit rushed. The food hall itself was always so busy, morning and evening. It wasn’t a pleasant experience. Food was never hot and the queues for the grilled areas were always really long. The best food we had was at the teppanyaki restaurant (absolutely delicious) and lunch at the snack bar by the beach was always nice. Also, the ice cream is good. Drinks were good! I loved that they had peach iced tea at the pool bars. The mojitos were great and probably the best cocktail I had. Lots of cocktails to choose from and bartenders will make anything you like. If having a spirit and mixer, it will be mostly spirt. Way too strong for my liking. A nice little touch is that they give you some nibbles while you have a drink. We will never turn down some crisps or nuts. The hotel didn’t have many British guests and although this is not an issue for us, it does become an issue when other nationalities refuse to queue, share and generally be polite people. Just something that really bugs me. Obviously this is not the hotels fault, but something to keep in mind if you are thinking of staying here. Overall we had a good holiday. Our son loved it! I don’t think I would choose to go back to this hotel but I wouldn’t say it’s bad. Lots of good things here! Thanks for a lovely week RHP and to the amazing staff members. They really do make a difference.

Firstly I would like to say that the hotel is really lovely. The staff are really friendly and can’t do enough for you, in fact they work so hard and are very proud of their hotel. Sadly I had a really bad experience in terms of dealing with a German guest/ family. Before I go a head I would like to express this is not a complaint about all the German guests, and this is an isolated incident to one particular family. My son is nine years old and autistic, due to him being extremely vulnerable I still take him in the female toilet because he is scared to go alone in the men’s. When I say he comes in with me, I would to stress that if the toilet is full we would check first it’s ok for him to enter, or we would more than happily wait outside until it’s empty. Sadly on this occasion we entered the toilet and the German lady and her daughter started screaming in my sons face you shouldn’t be in here!! Now the English wasn’t good, but good enough to insult us and scare the hell out of him. This vile lady then went to go outside in the seating area to tell all her family who then all felt the need to point and GLARE at him. My son was traumatised!! And thank god it didn’t cause a massive autistic meltdown! We didn’t intentionally go in there and are always respectful of anyone in there toilet! To some this might sound very trivial, but I would never shout at anyone’s children, and anyone with a child with additional needs will totally feel how upsetting this. What was really sad was even at breakfast and dinner the same family continued to point and stare at my son, which lead me to going to guest relations. Guest relations were absolutely fantastic and extremely kind and understanding. I don’t know her name but she was in the office at the back with dark hair, she really understood autism and how hard it is to be away from home. She really was lovely!! I don’t know the reception team names but they was really good too. Turkey really love children and I appreciate the kindness they showed. I enjoyed the holiday, and the hotel was absolutely stunning, but sadly I wouldn’t return because I think travelling with a child with additional needs, it would be easier to find a hotel more British based clientele due to them understanding probably more.

The Royal Holiday Palace is a lovely hotel with great staff from reception, restaurants, housekeepers and bar staff who cannot do enough for you are an asset to the company. The pools and grounds are great. The reason for the 3 stars is due to the food which was a real let down, it ranged from cool to cold. Even the kebab at the snack bar just as it opened was cold 🥶 For this reason I wouldn’t return to the hotel, which is a shame as the hotel and staff are fantastic.

We are writing this review as we are waiting for our transfer to the airport. First off the hotel is immaculately clean throughout. The staff here are so accommodating and attentive they really do go the extra mile and the guys in the restaurant are just wonderful. The hotel is so vast that it really does take some time to figure things out we still found somewhere new yesterday after a week here. I think it would be useful on check in to get more information from the reception team however they give you a QR code to scan which has a little more information on but as the hotel is so big it really does not cover everything. The animation team are lovely they stick by the one section of pool mainly and it seems they are happy to leave you to your own devices of you use another part of the pool which we preferred. The evening animation was hit and miss in our opinion it seemed samey with dance shows. The pier is lovely and great to jump into the sea for a swim. There are plenty of loungers on the pier, beach and near the massive pool. You don't have to be up super early to find beds but we found large groups would get up early to get their loungers together, towards the end of our break we felt maybe more loungers were out as it felt a little cramped. The water slides are great and there is a little fun fair for the little ones too which both open at certain times throughout the day. The drinks are standard all inclusive beer is good and the white wine is passable the prosecco was awful. The cocktails were hit and miss depending on who made them. There were waiters coming round the loungers during the day taking orders and bringing drinks they were fantastic. The food really is good, not geared for Brits but we always found something at breakfast and dinner and never went hungry. During the day there is endless choice donner kebab, sandwiches, waffles, jacket potatoes all at the amphitheatre. There is also a lovely little snack place heading to the beach where you order food off the menu between 12.30 and 3pm. Our big complaint is the room itself, they are so noisy. You can hear everything between the rooms and when people walk past in the morning it wakes you up. The one night we had a baby cry for 45minutes solid in the middle of the night and it sounded like they were in our room. The cleaners are up and about early obviously as the hotel is so vast but you can hear the doors slam and voices so loudly it's hard to sleep in past 7am. We also found the beds to be extremely uncomfortable which really did impact our sleep. Overall we had a wonderful holiday here and some of the staff we the reason behind this. Due to the lack of sleep I think this would prevent us returning. Maybe if rooms were upgraded we would. We were also offered a free upgrade to the sister hotel next door which we passed on given the research we'd done was purely on this hotel but if you are offered I would suggest going and having a look!

Our stay at the hotel was fantastic. The service is this hotel is top notch and nothing is too much for the staff here. Everybody goes the extra mile to help you. The waiters all greet you with smiling faces and check on you regularly if you need anything. The main restaurant is incredible, the quality of food and selection is great. There is something for everyone and the food is presented very beautifully and topped up as soon as it is getting low. There is management present in all areas and ready to solve any problem that may occur. The Turkish tent was super cute and we’re making traditional Turkish Gozleme everyday with Ayran. The pool and beach is spacious with lots of seating. You can also hire the private huts if you wish to upgrade your beach experience for a day. The entertainment is all day long and the team is very fun and friendly. We will definitely come back to this hotel next year.
