Hotel's Favourite
I emailed the hotel to make a reservation for the al a carte restaurant explaining it was for our anniversary, the day after we checked in a complimentary fruit bowl & bottle of wine was sent to our room. To address some of the comments below. As far as money being stolen goes, I'm sure the hotel vets all of it's staff but if you're stupid enough to put temptation if front of a large amount of people, then there will always be one person tempted. The proper thing to do would have been use the FREE safe in the room! "The food was horrific" Neither of us, nor anyone we spoke to had a problem with the food. The food wasn't always steaming hot but that's always the case when people don't put lids down. "I was ill all week" Again we never spoke to anybody who had a problem, maybe worth a visit to a doctor? "If you are a person of colour do not expect to be welcomed" FFS! probably more than 50% of the guests were 'persons of colour'. We spoke to families from Africa, Iran & the Caribbean, none of them mentioned having had any problems. As for the staff, not everybody works long hours & still manages to smile all the time. Most of the bar staff serving the outside tables had a smile on their face & were always polite. To sum up, I honestly believe that the hotel aspires to 5* status. The room was clean & cleaned regularly. The food was hot & varied with a really wide choice of different dishes. The bar service was fast & efficient. I would recommend booking the a la carte if you get the chance, 5 courses of freshly cooked food of your choosing for about a tenner, what's not to like? The million dollar question, would we come back? To the hotel? in a heartbeat. To Antalya? not in a million years, only because we prefer to be closer to a marina, boat trips & restaurants.

Recently returned from a second stay at Grand Park Lara and had a lovely holiday. The hotel and grounds are spotless. We loved the food and ate at both the main restaurant and the Tulip restaurant. All the staff are a credit to the hotel. Special mentions to Suma at the Customer Relations Desk, Merve an always smiling Lobby bar waitress and Ayala the lovely lady who was always cleaning in the Lobby bar. We will definitely return.

Nice hotel , Beautiful food caters for all nationalities.I had the best slow cooked beef I’ve ever tasted .The breakfast is mainly for Turks etc. They had freshly baked croissants every morning with butter and jam , For lunch the grill is open every meal time for burgers, pizza , fried chicken etc. I cant fault it. The all inclusive drinks are branded Smirnoff and Gilbeys gin again I can’t fault the drinks. The pool area and terrace bar is beautiful. All in all the amenities are faultless , now the room . On photographs the room looks really big , in reality we had a double bed and a camp bed , I travelled with my friend and young daughter so I had the most uncomfortable camp bed ever . Luckily my friends daughter swapped after the first night . There’s a small flat screen tv , if you scroll past the children channels you can find a couple of English channels, ( I like to watch tv when I’ve just woke up) There’s a kettle and coffee, tea bags provided The shower is very modern and all toiletries provided and a hair dryer. All in all it was great value as we went in November and got the holiday really cheap . It was 3 times the price in the summer , Would I stay again, Definitely for the food , drinks and the pool area , also the shopping just out of the hotel is amazing for fake sports wear and hand bags .

Once again, absolutely amazing time! Never fails to impress. This is our third time this year and we are already looking to come back in February. Everyone here is so lovely. Your absolutely amazing cleaner Ayla is an asset to your team & deserves to be recognised! She makes our family feel so welcome and she is just AMAZING! As are you all, although staff are extremely tired, they’re still working so hard. We have no complaints, overall this hotel is by far the best hotel we have ever stayed at and we will see you in February for the 4th time😁 thank you GPL ❤️

Just waiting in the hotel lobby, waiting for our transfer back to the airport after 7 nights here. The hotel overall is good, but not great… The location is good, but certainly not a “beach hotel” - short walk, but can’t see it from your balcony as sold - few overpriced shops on site but lots of others nearby both ways… The food is okay, if you’re not too picky - there was at least something to eat each night, even if I feel like I’ve eaten nothing but chocolate, chicken and chips (not together though) - what lets it down is the overcrowding, and certain types of people that will happily clamber over one another, to fight you for a slice of pizza! You’d think that the luxury of a 24hr buffet elsewhere onsite would offset this, but sadly not. The rotisserie chicken, mash and gravy were a saving grace on the final evening, as that was lovely! The pools are good, one of them is heated (apparently) - but no indoor pool, and the water slides (one of the main reasons we came here) were not in use, and a lot of the time spent beside the pools were interrupted by the Turkish Chuckle Brothers, making lots of noise, but little progress, putting together the metal frame of a giant Christmas tree. Staff on reception didn’t seem to speak much English, so couldn’t really advise a great deal - and the lad beside the towels had to be one of the most miserable people I’ve ever come across at a hotel - honestly - check in with him, is he okay? Does he need a hug? :( What I will absolutely sing the praises of, is the kids club - all 5 of the staff there were great, hosting activities and playing with the children - the “mini disco” grew on me through the week, and I know I’ll have their songs stuck in my head for at least a month to come! If I was running this place, I’d definitely reward these individuals with additional funding to update/refresh some of their equipment, as they’re doing the hotel enormously proud - and were probably our highlight of the week, especially as a couple of the days of our stay were impacted by poor weather… Bars were always staffed, kids were able to get their own drinks in, and the little waffle shack was a nice touch - overall, an enjoyable stay, good value for money - but wouldn't come back - partially because as a family we always try new places each time we travel, but also because it’s not a beach hotel and the slides in the photos are simply ornamental…

This hotel was lovely from start to finish great food and drink choices very clean and saw staff always cleaning and getting rid of the rain water when it rained. Definitely worth the money that we paid and I was actually surprised to see it was only a 3star I thought at least a 4. Three negatives one was from the photos you would think the beach was at the back of the hotel not a five minute walk but was not much of so problem maybe just make guests aware of that before they book and there was some trouble from some guests drinking too much either make it a pay bar from say midnight or close the bar at midnight, and lastly in the bar where they did the bingo the guy that did the bingo was swearing calling some guests cheeky ba£#&d now I know this is tongue in cheek humour but when you have little ones running about then I think this shouldn't be said on a microphone by a staff member

Ok, I normally stay in 4 or 5 star hotels if i am all inclusive and i fully understand that this hotel is a 3 star and i should review it has a 3 star which i will do. I was one of the many visiting the dentist just for a consultation and i was supprised how many people were having treatment done in Antalya I Check in at 11pm, Given the key card and told that i was in block H and given a map. Room was small with a window over looking the room next door balcony, It was not possible to open the window, But the room was OKAY , Out of the 4 days , My room was cleaned once in a fashion because i knew that the floor had not been cleaned nor had the bathroom toilet, The following day, It was that late, and i wanted to go to the room and i told them not to bother , The following day , The please clean me sign had been turned around to do not disturb !!!!! The restaurant was like something out of faulty Towers , Because i was on my own , Every time i got up from my table , The tabled was cleaned down and my glass of wine was taken away , When i came back, Someone else was sitting at the table and in the end , I gave up , It happened 3 times one evening and once later on in the smaller restaurant. Regards Food , I guess you get what you pay for and if your getting a 3 star hotel, Then you can't expect 5 star food, So basically , It was hard to get a decent plate of food and then the breakfast was something else, Wasn't great, No omelet, Bacon , Just lucky to get a processed sausage in a tomato sauce and scabbled egg or friend egg and yes there was a choice of other things which didn't appeal to me like processed meats, Salads etc However , The staff kept the restaurants clean Regards the outside Burger place, Its just junk food, No quality burgers, Just the basic stuff. Regards Entertainment, I did enjoy the Pub that they have and the DJ was playing some good music , However, Its suppose to be a pub and their was kids in the place and i had teenagers asking me to get them drinks because they had the wrong colored wrist band and i declined to get them drinks. On another note, There was fighting in the bar and staff were on high alert and trying to keep on top of things which they seemed to do a good job. Now into the 24 hour bar which there was fighting on a couple of night out of my 4 night stay, People just causing trouble and i believe that the police were called out twice with one guy up to no good, Honesty , It was something that you would see on the TV in the UK when you look at these council estates, People don't want to be on edge while having a drink and i can tell you , The hotel will have this on record but they won't want people to no, I know on the transfer bus , People were saying about the troubles and that they wont be going back. Regards the 24/7 bar , Certain drinks you have to pay extra for and i know one night i was told that if i wanted a certain cocktail, Then i had to go to the pub bar Regards the hotel blocks, I was in Block H and if it was raining and you wanted to go to the main area of the hotel, Then you were going to get wet, Its a good 3 to 5 minute walk. Over all, for a 3 star hotel, You get what you pay for, local drinks, Basic foods and not much choice of food, The hotel was busy considering that it was out of season with the main restaurant always busy when it opens, So better to go later in the evening for food, Seating areas inside was comfortable with good sofas and chairs and regarding guests, I would say that 95% of guests were great , But it was certain people causing trouble that gave the place a bad vibe and you don't want that on a holiday and that's what people remember and will talk about. After saying all of that , I was on a 4 day break and i made the most of my stay meeting some night people .

Having a wonderful stay at this superb hotel. Positives: Superb quality food, something for everyone. Very fresh salad with loads of choice, rice dishes, chips, pasta, fresh cooked fish, live cooking stands with different options every night, vegetarian options, delicious desserts like fresh baklava, seperate pattiserie with huge choice of cakes, Twister ice creams by the pool bar. Drinks are great, local spirits such as vodka rum whisky gin (all good quality), Tuborg and Carlsberg beer on draught, huge choice of cocktails which are delicious and strong, juices, soft drinks etc. Everything is included with your wristband (except the a la carte restaurant), there's something for everybody. The little extras like ice cream by the pool and umbrellas by the door when it's raining, the pattiserie, big bottles of water left in the room. Nice music around the pool, enjoyed the piano entertainment in the evening. Good fast WiFi everywhere. I stayed in a basic room which was still decent, very comfortable bed and very clean. Air conditioning, safe in the room, tea and coffee making facilities and two large bottles of water provided on arrival and a fridge to keep them cool. 5 minutes walk to the beach, Turkish Delight shop next door and various markets for fake clothes etc within a few minutes walk. Cheap local supermarket five minutes' walk down the main road (although the hotel provides pretty much everything you'd need). Negatives: Water temperature in the shower was inconsistent. Some of the serving staff on the bars are quite grumpy and unwelcoming. A lot of the food is very salty, I like that but that could bother some people, although the diet corner in the buffet was a nice touch so maybe that's less salty? Overall thoroughly impressed, will definitely come back and for the value it's highly recommended!
