The lodge is really fun. Rooms are small but comfortable but way too heated.
The food at breakfast wasn't great or served hot. Service was great, except at the bar in the evening. You aren't given a proper map, everything is printed on a computer...More
We absolutely loved our trip to Huilo Huilo. The accommodation is nice but staying at the place is a complete experience. The magic mountain rooms are small but comfortable. If anything they were a little overheated.

The Reserve is located in the XIV Region of Los Rios, in the South of Chile, South America. Part of the territory is in the townships of Panguipulli and Futrono, adjacent to the towns of Neltume, Puerto Fuy and the National Reserve Mocho-Choshuenco. The Reserve is bordered with the southern part of the Argentine province of Neuquén, being the Hua Hum frontier pass, near San Martin de los Andes the nearest access.
From a geo-environmental perspective, Huilo Huilo is located within the Valdivian eco-region and the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve of Temperate Rainforests of the Austral Andes, in the northern limit of the Chilean Patagonia, which is why we call our forests the Patagonian Jungle, as opposed to the steppe Patagonia that is in the extreme south of Chile.

Continue along the international highway CH 203 heading to Puerto Fuy. When passing through the area of Llallalca, you will reach the Reserve and once in you will see several signs that will guide you to whichever may be your particular point(s) of interest.
How to get to Huilo Huilo by plane from south of Chile:
The airports closest to the Huilo Huilo Biological Reserve are the following: Temuco, Valdivia, Osorno y Puerto Montt.
For some of our programs, the Reserve has regular transfer options taking guests from the airports in Temuco, Puerto Montt and San Martin de los Andes (Argentina), as well as a few mid points between said airports and the Reserve. The service has specific pick up and drop off timetables.
The Reserve also offers private transfer services (for only yourself and travel companions) from the guests’ desired pick up point.

Parking was right there and easy. Excursions should be emailed to them ahead of time, that's what we did. We also added excursions on when we checked in.. Pricing, i know nothing about... You will love the food there too
