Very warm welcome from the owner, who couldn't have been friendlier, and recommended a lovely local creperie for dinner. Beautiful breakfast was a real bonus, with local produce and home-made jam. The set up of the room was perfect for a family - the family suite was divided into an upstairs and a downstairs, so it was really like having...

Stopped here while on a cycle ride through France. Although they don't do evening meals Chantal and her husband were most helpful in telling me where the nearest restaurants were.. The room was excellent, I would definitely stop again.

Great place to stay, spacious rooms, excellent breakfast and a lovely garden. Chantal, the owner, was friendly and helpful. She booked us a table in a very good fish restaurant a couple of miles down the road. Rooms are individually decorated on a flower theme. Les Roses has a cute roof terrace that catches the evening sun. The only slight...

The way B&Bs should be. Clean room, large bathroom and even a little terrace. Charming and flexible host who waited up until midnight to greet us. Couldn't have asked for more at 70€ per night. Excellent selection of local-ish produce at breakfast, ingredients of which you can buy from the B&B. Will return.

Over the years, we have stayed at 3 different B&Bs and 1 hotel when we wanted to visit Monet's Garden at Giverny. None ever seemed right - indifferent service, expensive for what you got, small deceptions such as having the bathroom on the landing outside your bedroom which was never mentioned on the website. All were 1-night stands - that...

We arrived at this beautiful B&B and were immediately welcomed by our host(ess). Chosen because of its proximity to Giverny - to give us an early start. The room was a delight - with its own terrace. Surrounded by flowers to match Monet's garden. There was sadly no food available in the evening so we drove to nearby Evreux and...

First thing that you feel here - a lot of hospitality. the property is very tastefully furnished. Very comfy beds. A lot of space. Nice garden. Very close to charming old town of Vernon and Monet House and Garden in Giverny. The only thing that I can complain - the lack of alarm light on stairs in family room: the...

The Marchands were very welcoming from the moment we arrived. We were shown to our very comfortable room, and when we had settled in were able to enjoy a delicious aperitif (calvados and framboise) in the lovely garden. Dinner, cooked by madame and served by monsieur, was just superb. An(other) aperitif, and a carafe of delicious, fresh, local rose was...

We endorse everything that GrannyAnnie has said. The welcome was warm, the accommodation charming & comfortable, the dinner lavish, the cost minimal for what we received. You could hardly do better in an area where many hotels exploit their proximity to Giverny & the Monet industry to over-price & under-provide.
