Spur of the moment get away as its not to far from home. Unfortunately there were no yurts available, but the lovely young lady told us the log cabin was empty for the night so we had that. It's £50 for the night there is no electric, you have to supply your own bedding & there is a toilet &...

Just spent the most beautiful two nights at the love yurt. So peaceful and romantic. Rained on the second day but that's fine. You just spent your time in the yurt with your lamps, wood burner, bottle of wine, and your loved one, listening to the rain outside. What more could u ask for. Shower is lovely and hot with...

We stayed in the Love Yurt with our children for 2 nights. Upon arrival after a bit of a shaky start it appeared to be average, not really what I was expecting. The yurt smells a bit musty and the cooking station needs a good cleaning, a lot of the utensils are sooty in the box and having to boil...

Just got back from spending three lovely nights at Forest Yurts at Sopley Lake staying in the largest yurt, Elephant Yurt, which can sleep up to eight people. I stayed there with four adults (aged from 76 to 23) and three boys (aged 10/11). We had a diverse group of people, some who had never camped before to some who...

Thank you so much for your kind words, delighted you had a great time. The problem with the large gas bottles is one never knows when they are going to run out, they could literally be check by the servicing team and two minutes later be empty. But glad we resolved it quickly for you. We look forward to your...

Okay, so my other half days she'd like to stay in a Yurt!!! Glamping. Hmmm, okay, so I roll with this idea, investigate available Yurts and long story short we end up here! After a not too difficult ten mins to find the place, and driving through the orchards into the woods, passing the fishing lake, fishing hut, into deeper...

Sopley Forest Yurts are beautiful. We were a group of 15 girls all in our 30s. Some of us had our reservations about glamping, but it was a very comfortable and relaxing weekend. Well, with some serious drinking of Prosecco on the Saturday night! We were very proud that a group of not so outdoorsy ladies managed a successful campfire,...

We spent 5 days, 4 nights with two children age 3 and 6 in the Maharaja Yurt. An absolutely wonderful experience for all of us. The kids loved the freedom of running about outdoors from morning til night, husband loved the barbecue and camp fires. The inside of the yurt was stunning with lovely attention to detail and everything you...

We booked our two night getaway to the Dragon yurt at Sopley months in advance and were extremely excited to try our hand at sleeping in a yurt for the first time (especially after watching Netflix's series Marco Polo!) Wow, what a beautiful place to stay. The yurt camp is located in a wonderful setting, literally on the edge of...

We booked this to celebrate our wedding anniversary on 3/10/15. Directions to the Love Yurt were easy to follow, and perfect. Communication was fantastic, I pre booked a fresh meat BBQ pack and breakfast pack, which was in the fridge on arrival. Our faces lit up from the moment we arrived until we left, Fantastic Expirence.

We've just returned from a great time staying in the Maharaja Yurt with our 4 year old son. The yurt was very cosy especially once the wood burner was going, with a good amount of space and nicely decorated. The outside cooking facilities were very good and the food box ordered was very tasty. The kitchen had everything we needed...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Sopley Lake Yurt Camp has been the leading UK glamping destination since opening in 2011. Five yurts on four sites, all beautifully decorated with furnishings from North Africa across Asia to the Far East. The yurts are incredibly cosy and warm up in no time once the wood burner is lit on the coldest of nights. Each yurt has private facilities from a hot shower, composting loo, BBQ area, camp fire and fully equipped cooking station. The location is perfect (Pub within walking distance), lakeside views abundant with wild fowl and fish, close to the New Forest National Park (cycling, horse-riding, pubs) and the beaches near Bournemouth and Christchurch. Surrounded by PYO fields (seasonal fruit and veg available) and fresh farm produce delivered to your yurt fridge for your arrival. All part of our dedicated service and desire to give you the best glamping experience possible. ... more   less
