Beautiful little pub in the Borders. Food fantastic, both at dinner and breakfast. What really impressed me was the customer service of the two young woman on Wednesday night of the 29 November .......both were fab! Room was lovely, spacious and well decorated. Beds big and so so comfortable. Thank you!!!

We had a lovely evening. Delicious food and a great place to stay. Everyone was very friendly and there was a great atmosphere in the bar and restaurant. We came for one night as was working in the area, just a shame we couldn't stay longer,

We really enjoy our visits to the Allenton Inn! The special board dishes are the only dishes that usually allow us to sway from our steaks. It may sound boring but this is one of the only places we have found (we enjoy our steaks blue) that cook our steaks to perfection. On this occasion we decided to go for... More

We had read the good reports of the Allanton Inn and decided to visit. We were not disappointed. On a cold winters day the dining room was warm and welcoming with a blazing fire. The decor is modern and spotless. The menu is relatively small, a good sign in my view, but with some interesting dishes as well as the... More

Friendly owners and staff, an excellent range of 37 gins, first class non fussy food, comfortable and very well presented rooms.... More

All staff were friendly and welcoming. Accommodation was comfortable, dinner and breakfast were very good. We would certainly stay again. An ideal place from which to explore this lovely area of the Scottish borders and Northumberland.

Stayed here for one night recently and we are glad we did. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable and the staff very welcoming, friendly and attentive. The food was exceptional in both quality and quantity and excellent value for money. We had the lobster platter to share and it was just awesome. The dining room was full, so this... More
