The suite we stayed in was full of character. We enjoyed the wonderful setting, the very attentive service and the calm and tranquility of this historic fort. The adjoining palace is a fantastic ongoing restoration project and to have this on your doorstep is truly exceptional

Staying at Ranvas was magical, as noted by other reviewers. Everything about Ranvas is glamorous and tasteful - it is the most wonderful place we've ever stayed. The suites and sleeping rooms are large and beautifully decorated, lovely ante-rooms have comfortable seating, and there is plenty of privacy. Also, we enjoyed a tour of the magnificent fort, delicious food and...

We stopped at Nagaur for one night enroute to Jaisalmer from Jaipur. This is an amazing hotel where the rooms have been refurbished from the Haveli's the kings wives lived in. We were fortunate that the hotel was not in the least bit full (us and one other couple) which meant that we chose a ground floor room and had...

What a beautiful palace and fort and to be so fortunate to see what care goes in to restoring this historic site in Rajasthan. Limited number of rooms so be sure to make reservations. Off the beaten path a few hours from Jodphur but oh so worth it. We were fortunate to have a personal tour of the ramparts at...

From the minute you drive inside the fort walls one somehow senses this going to be an experience which is going to be different and it proved not to be a disappointment. The service keels are very high, the food interesting and served in dining rooms either conventionally inside or as we chose, outside in that there is a roof...

We attended the world Sufi music festival in February of 2016. We stayed in the tents in the polo field. The experience is so fantastic there are really not enough adjectives for me to be able to describe how magic it is. The music was fantastic. The food was absolutely delicious. The staff were very attentive and really looked after...

The hotel is housed within the recently restored palace in the Nagaur Fort. The fort is huge, and the hotel rooms are in ten havelis built in the 18th century for the Maharajah of Jodhpur`s brother`s wives to live in. The entire palace has been very sympathetically restored and the restoration continues, and you really feel as if you are...

This is a wonderful heritage hotel - the rooms are in the Havellis built in the 14th century by the Maharaja for his 12 wives and apart from the modern bathrooms and the electric light (though this is low and not bright and modern) you could be living then. You have the Fort to yourselves and it is a magical...

Such a lovely heritage hotel it is and you don't get the feel/idea until you go inside this fort that how big and magnificent this fort is, which has not been over done. They have retained the rustic feeling and the environment. Excellent restoration work done. The rooms and the common areas give you a romantic feeling. I felt this...

I have rarely come across a heritage hotel so thoughtfully and so delicately restored. To stay in a 12th century fort with layers of history apparent in every beautiful arch and alcove, was a treat. And there is nothing garish or crassly opulent about the luxury hotel that is built into the former queens' quarters. Everything is done with remarkable...
