Hi Andrew Yes, I can confirm that The Carew is dog friendly and you can have your pet to stay. You will need to bring what makes them comfy - basket, blanket, etc - and they do charge a £5 per night additional cleaning fee, but dogs are very welcome.

"Avoid room 3 if possible (aircon noise) - room 4 was vey good over looking the front (very quiet road)."
