Clean and nice hotel with a good restaurant, nice food. Furniture is made of Zircote wood, a very solid lumber and each chair weighs 50-60 pounds. Nicest dining chairs I have seen in a while. A matching swing chair in the restaurant entrance is also made of this wood. The room had a well working air conditioner and ceiling fan...

nice chalets and room, may not be the high standard you are looking for but considering the area, it's one of the best place to stay, very close to the airport and the. Furniture are mix of old and new style TV needs replacement :) Catering is poor, but they have a nice river view and nice swimming pool. Ask...

My wife and I stayed for a month. Rates were reasonable, the staff are very nice and respectable. The Management however, needs improvement. The Hotel itself is owned by the Mayor and run by the Mayor's Family, therefore is more interested in money than in a good reputation from guests. What I mean by that is this, for a solid...

Having been many times in his resort/hotel, we appreciate its continued improvement. It is gratifying to see the long term planning resulting in the creation of a high standards resort. Recently an rather ugly wall dividing the property has been removed and this gives a much better look to the hotel grounds. We booked a suite (No 48) on the...

By far the best place to be in calgayog. The ceriaco is nice but costly. Staff is excellant and the pool clean. food is good but gets boring after a long stay. Although close to lots of good restaurants.

The room and the service were ok but they would not accept credit cards. I paid around PHP 3,000 per night and would not recommend to travel with a lot of cash in your pocket in a country like the Philippines. The pool was crowded with guests from outside and we felt like in a cage. You have to pay...

Their rooms are a jawdropping cheap cost. The rooms cost from 250-2000.00 per night. They also has swimming pool and you can also go kayaking. If you are renting their rooms you do not need to pay for the entrance to the pool and if you are an outsider then you need to pay 50.00 plus 100.00 for the cottage....

We have been many times guests at Marju, but this time we found it not so good anymore. Sure the rooms are still good value (1100 php for room 6 in the court) and the service is caring. But the pool's cleanliness really was not good, as if the filtration system was not working. Also the restaurant food was so-so...

Having viewed other travellers comments, I chose Marju Krisel over the Ciriaco hotel in Calbayog for my first couple of nights. I was a first time visitor to the region having travelled from London and was wanting somewhere pre-booked. The 1500 pesos a night for room 37 was reasonable but I found it a rude awakening to learn the hotel...

We stayed for 2 nights, the room was lovely, very clean, big and modern with aircon, cable tv and wifi. There is a range of rooms to suit all budgets. The resort is very quiet with a large swimming pool and excellent restaurant, which is very reasonable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The resort is on the river,...
