Staying in this guesthouse is like staying in the house of a relative. Heba and her husband welcome you in their house full of personal belongings, objects that have been owned, used, painted, stitched by relatives. Breakfast is very very good as well. The perfect B&B that you anyone could imagine.

My partner and I stayed at Heba's for one night and she was very accommodating and warm. We were made to feel at home, our room was very comfortable and the bathroom was very clean and well supplied with towels and toiletries. However, our favourite thing about the stay was Odin, their border collie rescue dog who was very gentle and cute, he stayed with us during breakfast and looked at us with his cute eyes, it was like he knew we were in love with him!!

We spent one night at the guesthouse Heba, and had a wonderful time. The proprietors were welcoming, very friendly, gave us good ideas for restaurants around the area. The room was quiet and comfortable (we were the only guests that night), and we had a full breakfast the following morning. And the location is walkable to one of our favorite lobster restaurants Fjorurbordid. We will definitely stay again if we travel to Stokkseyri

This was our favorite stay in all the places during 14 days in Iceland. Gorgeous home with historic artifacts, great and attentive host, beautiful location, quiet, great room. We loved our stay. Also turns out, my husband is a distant relative to Kristian, from the 1600s! We also loved visiting with Odin, such a sweet dog. Heba is the ultimate host and had great suggestions for places to visit. Can't say enough good things! And of course near to many excellent places to visit. I would recommend getting off the plane and using this as home base for a couple days, great place to unwind and rooms are quiet, good for sleeping off the jetlag or hanging out in common room if you can't sleep!

Thank you, thank you, for your visit and the chance of getting to know you Keri. We enjoyed the discussion and learning about your view of "the old country". Look forward to hearing from Uncle Reykdal and preferably having the whole family visiting one day. So many things to explore!
