Challenging with extremes of weather and walking surfaces but memorable due to our guides’ assistance and support. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the excellent meals prepared by our guides and appreciated the drying room and hot shower we accessed every afternoon after a long...More

Hi there, The guides are really good at allowing for people to walk at their own pace. The group can spread out and generally there will be 1 guide toward the front of the group and 1 toward the back. Sometimes the faster walkers may need to wait for the group to catch up but it generally works itself out without becoming an issue. At lunch stops the lead guide will boil some water for hot drinks etc so people can keep warm. I hope this helps. Cheers,

In our group people walked at different paces but it wasn't a problem - never too long a wait, and besides, the waiting points were usually for a morning or afternoon snack, or lunch, and in a spot that was relaxing and pleasant to be in. The guides generally ensured that one of them was with the front group and the other near the back. Not much dawdling!
