Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed here for 2 nights & absolutely loved it. We received a warm welcome & were shown to our lovely room which was bright & very clean with everything that you could want. It's a pity you dont do breakfast but the farm shop & cafe next door are very handy. I would definately recommend staying here.

Just stayed for the one night and wished we'd booked 2 nights. Warmly greeted and shown to lovely clean room with great view of the garden. Slept well on a really comfy bed in quiet surroundings. Didn't have a chance to try breakfast as had to leave early for race, hopefully next time.

We stayed at Sweet Pea Cottage in the beautiful grounds of Giltar Grove for 5 nights along with our 4yr old Granddaughter, who loved her "Princess Cottage".

We received a warm welcome from the start, with a fabulous hospitality pack of homemade Welsh Cakes (yummy!), wine, chocolates and a small bunch of freshly picked posies from the grounds of the house. Nice touch!

The cottage itself is very cosy and homely with everything you could need during your stay. We were shown around the cottage facilities and supplied with fresh milk, tea and coffee upon our arrival. Again, nice touch!

There is a farm shop next door to the cottage, which sells gorgeous local produce and serves food in its small cafe. To the rear of the shop are farm animals for the kiddies to feed.

Easy access to the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path is across the road from the cottage. Do not miss this opportunity to take in the breathtaking views of the rugged Pembrokeshire coastline. We walked into Tenby (and to Lydstep) using the footpath, it was quite easy to do and a taxi back from Tenby after lunch was £8.

We've stayed in and around Tenby for over 30yrs and would return to Sweet Pea Cottage as its location along with the warm welcome we received were second to none!

I stayed here for an extended period whilst working in Pembrokeshire. Roy and Sarah run a great establishment which is very comfortable and very clean. Roy will give you advice on all things local and the breakfasts are excellent. The management really do go the extra mile.

With the addition of free wi-fi internet, I couldn't pick a fault with this place!

Recommended. I will be back!

Recently stayed here for a few nights in April and it was a delight. Sarah and Roy are so friendly and the breakfasts are definately worth getting out of bed for! The rooms are cute and cosy and the whole house is beautiful and in a lovely setting. Their conservatory is a great place to relax in and watch the wildlife outside in the gardens whilst chatting with Sarah and Roy about where to go in the local area (being from the area they know all the history and all the best places!). I'll definately be back!

My room was not the one that a member of AA review panel stayed in because they would not have recommended it for The Best B & B in Britain. Very dusty and very dated. Windows thick with condensation in the morning but unable to open the windows as they are painted shut.
Gardens really pretty but that's where it ends. The overall experience was awful.

Roy and Sarah run a delightful B&B in Penally just outside Tenby. They are most welcoming, the accommodation is extremely comfortable and the breakfasts will keep you going for most of the day! I thoroughly recommend this guest house.

For a feel of Pembrokeshire you'd be hard pressed to beat this as a good position to visit anywhere from Tenby and Saundersfoot in the East to Pembroke and Manorbier in the West - for example.
The breakfasts are great and this is a really good B & B experience.
Recommended - but hope it doesn't become so popular there's no room for us next time!
