We recently stayed at the manor in Fiddlers cottage which was a self contained building with an open plan living area and 3 bedrooms. This offered us plenty of space and privacy with just 2 adults and 1 child. The cottage is very well decorated with direct access to the orchard and provides the ability for BBQs and drinks outside in your own secluded area. The grounds and walled garden are incredibly well maintained, our hosts made us feel very welcome and ensured our son had a wonderful stay with frequent trips to see the chickens and ducks while exploring the rest of the grounds. An idilic location and we would definitely recommend a stay at the cottage

We had a fantastic stay in Fiddlers Cottage at Cuffern Manor. This is a 3 bedroom property adjacent to the main house. Situated a mile outside Roch it's less than 5 min drive to Newgale beach and only a couple of minutes away from the main Coast road. Julian greeted us on arrival and gave us a quick tour of the property then left us to our own devices but to get in touch if we had any problems. The property was very clean and has a very large kitchen so cooking for a large group would be no problem. Despite a cold snap, it waw lovely and warm inside and we also made use of the wood burning stove which made it very homely. Julian even brought round a basket of wood to make sure we had enough to see us through our stay. The bed was very comfortable too. All in all excellent hosts and a lovely property.

In a very quiet location accessible only by very narrow lanes; in its own grounds, with lovely garden. An old property with a nice breakfast room and all the basic facilities we needed to get away from it all. Julian and Jayne were very friendly and very obliging giving helpful advice about restaurants to eat, with contact details and interested in places we visited.

We had an enjoyable 6 days here; Jayne and Julian were friendly and helpful, and where there was a small problem (broken light switch) fixed it quickly. The guest house is basic (and usual facilities not available because of Covid) but has a beautiful garden which provides fruit for the breakfast table. Location is nicely central for various parts of the Pembrokeshre Coast (as long as you don't mind driving on narrow country lanes).

Julian & Jayne are lovely hosts and they were very helpful with our requirements with our two young children. We felt well looked after.
We also loved the quiet & peace that the place has to offer.
The breakfast was good, and they even had fruit compote made from the fresh berries of their own garden.

Had a great stay at the Cuffern Manor with my brothers.
The rooms were quite adequate all of us had en suite.
The rooms are basic but were clean and tidy.
The Hosts Juian and Jayne were very charming and welcoming.
In the evenings we had the use of the communal lounge downstairs to relax in and there was a choice of Ciders ales and wine from a small bar in the hall which you could help yourself to and write down on a pad, based on Honesty.
Breakfast in the morning was great and if more toast or Tea or Coffee was required it was provide.
I was fascinated in the history of this large Mansion and there was a folder that had been created by Julian that went into the history of the Manor with various pictures.
There was even a Library that we were able to use full of a fascinating book collection.
The Cuffern and its hosts provided everything we required and I would certainly stay there again.

The description of the property was nothing like the actual thing. One pillow ,bed against beam only hit my head twice a night, if you are over 5’8 you will hit head on ground floor too no mention of that. Shower room no shower! Or room to get in out of bath. Tv no remote and could only manually go up channels so had to go through all the free channels, asked owner answer “was not good the gadgets not a lot I can do”
Would not recommend to anyone!
Booked direct with them now got an invoice after having a email on booking taking all my card details and confirming booking .

A great location in the countryside within easy reach of the coastal path, Newgale Beach and St David's. The owners, Julian and Jayne, were great hosts and made us feel very welcome. The grounds were lovely and the walled garden a delight. Breakfast was excellent, and the fruit compote made with fruits from the garden was delicious. A very relaxing break - we would definitely stay at Cuffern Manor again.

Julian and Jayne made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The house and grounds are wonderful, the room was exactly as described. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Julian recommended lots of places for us to go and visit. It's best to hire a car as the closest beach was about 2miles away and it's the easiest and best way to explore the area.

This is not a place for walkers. It is a long, long, trek from the nearest village, Roch, along very narrow lanes. In short, if you do not have a car, look elsewhere. The manor is an 18th century building set in pleasant grounds with views. The first impression is of a comfortable, traditional, manor. Unfortunately, the splendid first impression it not matched by the interior. Our room was dire; dreary in the extreme. It reminded me of a spartan military barracks. Our room was not en-suite, the bathroom being down the corridor. The breakfast was good. The best thing about the place was Julian, the host, who is a very nice guy. He was extremely helpful. He gave us a lift, there and back, to the nearest pub for dinner and he gave us a lift to Little Haven the next morning so that we could continue our walk along the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. So, 10 out of 10 for helpfulness.

We have one unit where dogs are welcomed. Its The Bothy - a one bedroomed barn conversion. It is detached from the main house, has a TV, woodburner, fridge, small single hob cooker, microwave, bath and shower...cosy and compact. It is booked until September.
