Stayed in Glenloy Lodge for the first time in May and I'm sure it won't be the last time! Very friendly welcome although I had to look for the location. Beautiful surroundings and well worth visiting. Watched lots of birds and pine martens directly in front of the window: Think it would be a great place for a family with...

Lovely location with great views of the Nevis Range. Friendly host. Single room was small but adequate (slight damp smell but this is an old house in a wet location!). Good breakfast. Really enjoyed seeing the pine martens (which they feed late pm).

We've just had a great week staying here (our 70th birthday present from our family) and would thoroughly recommend Jon and Angela's Guest House (Glenloy Lodge) and their Wildlife tours. Highlights were Angela's excellent cooking and Jon's guided tours to see so much spectacular scenery and birds as well as animals such as deer, otters, dolphin, red squirrels - and,...

the lodge, a former hunting lodge, is in a truly stunning location. From the sun lounge you have views towards Aonoch Mor. The rooms are spacious, all en suite and each room has its own character and interesting art. it also has a television room. The house has a huge number of books, reference books about wildlife and other interesting...

Of the five B&B's we visited in Scotland, this was the only one we found disappointing. The rooms are of just average quality, the bed was not very comfortable, and it is easy to hear noise from the other rooms. The host was very rude when we arrived the first night, and though we got on better the next morning...

Glen Loy Lodge was a nice place to stay in Fort William area. My room was well appointed and bed nicely made. It looked out onto the beautiful forest around the lodge. So quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was delicious and served hot and on time. Jon was very kind and welcoming. I arrived early and he was very accommodating and...

We stayed here for four nights a week ago and were well entertained by the Pine Martens and John and his knowledge of the local and further knowledge with his Wildlife Trips. Great beds, great breakfast and great company.

Too far away from fort william. Smelly and a few ugly rooms. Bed were a bit wet. Couldnt sleep because of the smell. Only 1 of 4 rooms were ok. Breakfast was good. The walls are pretty thin so u hear everything of next rooms and the floor. Cant understand, why people liked this lodge. Never ever again.

We are very sorry that you had a poor experience at Glenloy Lodge. We were obviously unable to deal with your issues satisfactorily at the time and unaware of the depth of your feelings. There was a problem with a slight smell in one room, unfortunately left by something a previous guest had spilled (not mould, as stated - we...
