A fabulous hotel right on Neptunes Staircase! The rooms are clean and a good standard....the food is wonderful and well presented. The staff are outstanding and made our stay so enjoyable. Katy and Jessica deserve a special mention for their oustanding attentive service but all staff were excellent. We will return for sure!!!

I stayed here in an executive room on the 2nd Jan 2017 to attend an event in Fort William. From booking to check out the staff were very helpful and accommodating going above and beyond to make sure we had everything to make our stay enjoyable. I like to thank all the staff we encountered for the service in particular...

A one-night business stopover and was placed in an excellent new room. Good food, very friendly staff and in a lovely location. The room was in a new extension built a couple of years ago and it is clearly very superior and I believe a cut above the older, regular rooms.

Nice little hotel. We were at the new part of the building so mostly everything are in good condition. Quite like the shower system although don't like the smell of the shower room, it's like something not been dried/mouldy smells. They did have an air freshener inside but we didn't like them either so we turned it off. Bed was...

Good Afternoon Thank you for your review, I am glad you liked the hotel. However I am slightly disappointed that a few things let us down that shouldn't have. We strive to deliver a 4* service in all areas of the hotel and this was clearly not what you received. I hope you will return to the hotel so we...

We stayed 1 night and took two rooms. We where pleasantly surprised. After my mistake in Portree, I had lost some credibility, hotel wise, with my family. We were going from Skye to St-Andrews and we needed an hotel for 1 night. It's not the Fairmont, which was our next destination, but the 2 rooms were very large, clean and...

I stayed at the Moorings with my partner and dogs just before Christmas. The hotel contacted me before our stay to discuss room size and so on with traveling with dogs which I though was very nice. On check in I was asked if I needed help with my luggage- again very nice. The room was cosy, I assume freshly...

Good points. Lovely location. Excellent food - chef should be congratulated. Decent sized room and comfortable. Quiet. Lovely view. Lots of free parking. Niggles. Service in the Restaurant/Bistro was not good. We had to wait 20 minutes after ordering our breakfast. At dinner we were served by three different waitresses with the consequence that none of them knew who should...

Hooray! My work finally allowed me to stay somewhere other than the dreadful hotel they used to use in Fort William (clue: it shares its name with a nearby large mountain). Anyway - the location was great, parking was plentiful, check in was very quick and freindly, the room was very warm and comfortable, and the food was excellent. The...

This hotel is excellently placed just next to Neptunes staircase, a water key system which connects east and west of Scotland, and has excellent views of the surrounding area, including Ben Nevis. The Hotel itself is old, with recent renovations and extensions, however the interior itself is fantastic regardless of which part you are in. There are two eating areas,...
