Firstly it would appear that the owner/proprietor does not make any comments on reviews. This could be for a number of reasons, ranging from 'Don't Care' to 'Don't Read', however, having read a lot of reviews it would be interesting to see some response.

Was gifted a birthday treat here in the form of a full afternoon tea. Delicious sandwiches cut just right, scones and summer cake treats. Lovely spot with calming gardens - pity about the distant road noise but that can't be helped.

We stayed in the Coachhouse and, apart from being away from the main building so you have to walk across the courtyard to get meals, we found it great. We had a normal room and it was fantastic, plenty of room etc.
