#1 of 2 B&Bs / Inns in Coton
Harvest View is a small, friendly bed and breakfast situated 3 miles from Cambridge city centre. We opened in February 2011 and are a very popular place to stay. We have a double room with king sized bed, a double room with double bed and a single room. All our rooms are furnished to a high standard with en-suite shower rooms, flat screen TVs and tea and coffee making facilities. There is a varied breakfast menu which includes fresh fruit and Greek yoghurt, a selection of cereals, full English and continental breakfasts as well as a daily special. Breakfast is served in our beautiful orangery which offers open views across pretty farmland. We have a 5 star Food Hygiene certificate awarded by the local council and have gained Certificates of Excellence from Trip Advisor for the last 4 years. We recognise the importance of environmental conservation and we endeavour to keep our impact on the environment to a minimum. We therefore operate a minimum 2 night stay policy to assist in reducing the level of detergents, water and energy used for laundry. Harvest View is the ideal Bed and Breakfast from which to explore the historic city of Cambridge. Walkers and cyclists will be in their element in our delightful countryside. We are well located for the University's West Cambridge site, Addenbrookes and Papworth Hospitals and the Cambridge Science Park. We look forward to welcoming you to Harvest View.

We booked for 2 nights. Best decision this year. The room was spotlessly clean and perfect in every respect. Alyson and Vernon are great hosts, and the breakfasts are rightly legendary. The bathroom was great, and the bedroom had not only tea making facilities but cake!! And 10% off bills at the local pub!

Wonderful stay in a beautiful rural setting. The house, and it's beautiful garden, is set in a very peaceful setting surrounded by countryside. The rooms are immaculately clean and tidy as is the rest of the house. The breakfasts are great and the hosts are very friendly. I cannot find fault with this B&B or my stay there. Likewise with the lovely hosts. Many thanks for a wonderful stay. Randy (Letchworth)

Close to the field of corn waving at the windows of Harvest View is a footpath that will take you across the road to to the monumental and memorable American cemetery at Cambridge. For all that the glories of Cambridge have to offer the visitor, my friends and I found this memorial the most affecting and impressive. It marks with the greatest dignity and regard those American, Canadian and English and Commonwealth airmen who lost their lives in the long-range bombing raids on German factories. Their story is told in a magnificent narrative of photographic displays and moving videos in the museum at the foot of the magnificent flagpole that towers into the Cambridge sky. As a whole this memorial is a work of art. You will not come away unmoved.

Handy for P&R into Cambridge, but in a quiet village setting. Friendly hosts who provided excellent chioce of breakfasts, including 'daily specials'. Clean & tidy. Wildlife visible at times in the adjoining field.

We stayed here for 2 nights whilst visiting my daughter. The location is beautiful and peaceful despite being a very short drive from the centre. The room was lovely and the bed was really comfortable. The hosts were very friendly and the breakfast (and daily cake!) was excellent. Lots of choice, high quality and expertly cooked. We will definitely stay here again whenever we are in Cambridge.
