Bit confused,we stayed on Boxing Day and had a reduced room rate, the manager Steve informed us it was a special price to attract some custom. And it was effective until march,so we thought that when we came again on New Year's Eve it would be the same.no it was a different price on both nights.how can he justify that. There needs...

Food choice, price and quality of food very good, disappointed in the quality of Customer Service, had to chase waitresses for cutlery and condiments for the meal. Felt food rushed as no gap between starter and main, no sooner had the starters been eaten the main course was served.

Spend every weekend here and the whole afternoon of new years eve. We went for meal and returned later to find a bouncer on the door refusing us entry only if we paid £5 each just to get entry into an already empty pub. I wouldn't mind if the ale that we'd already had was OK but we'd already returned...

Having spent the last three years with our bowling club Presentation/Christmas Dinner and having written shining reviews about the hotel, food and service. I now find it necessary to review the establishment again as this year we have had no choice but to take our booking elsewhere. When I went to arrange the menus for our booking this year which...

With my Girlfriend for her works party, nice place, the food was way above par, chips to die for. Did not stay over, some of her colleagues did, really good value for this time of year too. The function room was big, definetly something I would consider for parties, can hold 100 people.

Arrived after four to freezing room, gas heating wasnt working. Provided 2 electric heaters..(.which could have been plugged them in for us!!-) Which eventually did the job. When we we to order food...

We turned up at the Wynnstay on a Friday night. We were told there would be a 30 min wait on food which we were fine with. We were a family of 3 and had met up with another couple. Food was ordered separately at the bar. One half of our party were served their food and had eaten their...

Being local to the hotel I've not seen any of the rooms but have eaten a few times in the bar and have noticed the food take a nosedive recently. The previous menu was more gastro-pub and nicely presented but all meals are now generally £7.95 and offer the usual pub grub offerings of chilli, lasagna, scampi, and jacket potatoes....

It is unusual for me to hammer independent hotels (chains should know better), but this one deserves the criticism....the place is very tired in it's look and badly maintained... WRONGS: .Room 7 "overlooking the courtyard" (actually it's a car ark) was dirty and unsafe....there was no hot water, no central heating. I found an electric fire in the damp wardrobe;...
