Trecoed farm is located about a mile from the nearest main road so it is the ideal location for a relaxing stay. It has open fires, structural beams which are visible and oak stairs and flooring. The upstairs has recently been refurbished and there is plenty of parking. All Windows have spectacular views. It is the ideal location for any visitors who like the outdoors, the area is superb for mountain biking, walking/hiking and general outdoor activities. The Elan Valley is a lovely day out for everyone, whether you like admiring different scenes or like taking advantage of being outdoors it is a good central point, located about 20 minutes away by car.

The Pugh family are charming and helpful. I phoned late from the bottom of the drive on spec and was given a warm welcome. Trecoed is an oasis of calm set in a lovely garden. Spotlessly clean with everything you could need. A generous breakfast rounded off a very nice stay

We really enjoyed our one-night stay in this lovely B&B. It ticked all the boxes for me. It was very peaceful and quiet. It is in a remote spot, but with the directions given by our welcoming host and the signage from the main road (at 2.5 miles from Builth Wells) we found it with ease even in the dark. The bed was very comfortable. I could open the window wide and get all the fresh air i love when sleeping, and it was beautifully quiet outside with just the sounds of the countryside to enjoy. So we had a lovely nights sleep. Breakfast was great -- a really tasty full English including eggs, mushrooms, bacon, sausage, and tomato served up at exactly the time we asked for it -- 8 am on Sunday morning. (Other places I've stayed have not been so accommodating in this respect!) And she even provided full fat milk for my cornflakes too. There was everything you needed in the room which was well decorated but also scrupulously clean and tidy. We felt very much at home and enjoyed the conversations with our host and felt very welcome. Thank you for a lovely stay.…

Recently stayed at this B and B and had a most relaxing few days break. Situated in a quiet and country setting all you can hear are the sheep and the birds. The farmhouse was excellent with all the amenities you need Had an undisturbed nights sleep with a delicious breakfast the next morning. Elsie was a fantastic host very friendly but never intrusive. Would certainly recommend this if you are seeking peace and quiet. Hope to return in the near future

I stayed here in mid-December 2017 on business for the night. The lady that runs Trecoed Farm B&B is very friendly and welcoming. The B&B is in a rural location on what appears to be a farm estate, but is easily accessible with ample parking. The room was lovely, clean, warm and comfortable, and the bathroom luxurious. The cooked breakfast the following morning was absolutely delicious! I will definitely stay here again if ever passing through the area for business or holiday!

Wonderful place, Wonderful setting , Wonderful host.... I decided very late to go away overnight with my daughter : after some e-mailing and a recommendation from another B and B in the area to contact Trecoed Farm, I can not express how pleased I was that I did. Elsie booked us the twin room and was amazingly accommodating with our arrival time and early breakfast on the Sunday morning , which was delicious by the way :) We had a lovely welcome and felt at home straight away. The house and room were spotlessly clean ( and I am unbelievably fussy), the views from the twin room were stunning and it was so quiet and peaceful I could easily have stayed longer. Such a beautiful place in a beautiful setting with a wonderful host, I can not speak highly enough of the whole B and B Thank you Elsie for such a lovely stay : I hope we can come back soon.…

This is such a lovely b&b, and after a long drive (bank holiday traffic) from Kent it was so nice to join my friends... Elsie had booked us a lovely table at the pub and we had a wonderful breakfast in the morning... this was my second visit, everything as good as last time... so clean, so welcoming... I'm looking forward to the next visit already!! Thank you

We stayed here with our two children. We had the double room and they had the twin room. The rooms were very clean, well decorated and comfortable. They were nice and warm and had some lovely little touches, such as Kilner jars with cookies, a jar with coffee for the cafeteria. Our children have never stayed in a B&B before and I think they've been spoils now, I hope they don't think this is what all B&B's are like because this surpasses most I've stayed at.
