We are a small business set in beautiful surroundings within walking distance of the market town of Bala in the Snowdonia National Park. The location is great for a peaceful break, a base for touring or for activities such as cycling, walking, fishing, canoeing and white water rafting. We have self catering accommodation just for two people. Both properties are on one level. Cysgod Bach Cottage - is modern and stylish and has everything you need for your holiday. There is decking outside in the South facing secluded garden. Caban y Saer (Carpenter's Cabin) - for two people. It sits on the edge of the river Hafesb with a huge deck where you can enjoy the peace and quiet. Equipped with everything you need for your stay with us. Lovely small cottage suitable for solo or couple travellers. Tucked in a quiet spot just outside a Bala within easy reach of its amenities, the lake, the train and the beautiful countryside. The accommodation is comfortable, spotless and has everything you need. Will be coming back.

The cottage is very well equipped and is in a lovely rural setting close to Bala town and the lake. The area is great for walking and Cader Idris is definitely worth visiting on a clear day, the views are amazing.

Been here several times. Very clean, beautiful setting and so tranquil. Love the hot tub. The surrounding countryside of North Wales is so special. Brilliant to be in a little hamlet but a quick walk takes you to a small town with a lovely lake. Mel is the best host ever!!! Book it!

Really nice place and very helpful owners. The place was clean homely and warm which on a cold November day was most welcome. we had only booked one night but would like to visit again when the weather is nicer and we can better enjoy the surrounding area.
