Recently visited for a one night stay whilst meeting up with a friend from Ireland. Very disappointed - hotel interior seemed like turning back the clock at least 30 years...extremely tired decor both in bar/dining areas and bedrooms. It really does require a huge investment to meet 21st Century standards!! Food was worse than in a transport cafe.....mostly frozen and...

The hotel is situated at the end of a road overlooking Fishguard ferry terminal. The views are great and the terminal doesn't intrude into the hotel's tranquility at all. It was built in the 1800s and has kept much of its charm and although some might say it needs an injection of capital to bring it back to its former...

I really enjoyed my 2 night stay at the hotel. We paid a bit extra for a sea view which was worth every penny. To look out over the harbour was lovely. When picking this type of room be mindful of the ferry traffic in the night. The staff were really friendly and helpful, our room was clean and comfortable....

We stayed for two nights with one dinner on a Groupon voucher. The hotel is old but charming with evidence of past grandeur, our first room was cold as the heating wasn't working but they quickly moved us to a sea view room (we hadn't paid extra for) and we were very happy. It was warm, clean and comfortable with...

adequate, but that's about it, no sign of homemade puddings or pate for starters, roast beef ok, but arrived covered in gravy, niceroast potatoes. Pate had a lovely orangey hint to it, which was rather nice, but clearly not made on the premises. hint -it'quieter to eat in the restaurant than the bar!
