Brynarth is nestled within the foothills of the Cambrian Mountains, amongst some of the most stunning scenery in the Ystwyth Valley. Ideally located to visit the many attractions this area has to offer and close enough to easily enjoy the coastal town of Aberystwyth. Perfect location for those guests who enjoy walking, cycling and wildlife in a peaceful, tranquil setting. This 17th Century farmhouse and its barns have been tastefully renovated with cosy guest rooms full of character, a warm welcome from the log fire in the inglenook fireplace, a licensed snug bar, and 2 acres of bluebell woods included within 8 acres of grounds and gardens. Breakfast is freshly cooked to order using locally sourced produce. Evening meals can also be arranged for groups of six or more guests, bookable in advance. Book direct with us to not only receive the best available rates, but also get the choice of all of our rooms which are not on offer to booking agents.

We love this area of Wales and good accommodation is hard to find, Brynarth didn’t disappoint. We will visit this lovely B&B again, our hosts were lovely and made us feel very welcome. We recommend the Hungry Ram which is local restaurant (recommended by Brynarth) for tea!

This is a lovely B&B situated a couple of miles outside Aberystwyth. It's a bit off the beaten track and can be a bit difficult to find. However there are good directions on the web site. The road is very narrow and could be quite scary if trying to negotiate for the first time

Do you have a restaurant and which rooms take a dog
There is no dedicated restaurant at Brynarth, just a dining room where you have breakfast. The rooms in the annexe take dogs but not the bedrooms in the main building, as they are for guests with allergies. There is a small bar off the lounge area where you can order a drink at night but evening meals have to be booked in advance for a minimum of four people - most guests go out for the evening meals to local pubs.
