Just returned from our 3rd year at Chalet Le Prele. As always it has been fanatastic. The chalet is one of the best i have come across in any French ski resort. Beautifully decorated and comfortable. The chalet hosts this year Ed and Jenna are fabulous and the food was excellent. You really dont want for anything - from your cup of tea in bed in the morning to dinner in the evening ( complete with cheese lesson from Ed) you are completely looked after. The ski bus stops across the road taking you to either Avoriaz or Morzine slopes and the snow is fab this year, Mountain Mavericks are a great company to book with and nothing is too much trouble. I would strongly recommend it to anyone and look forward to our trip next year!

"Outstanding"
From the moment we arrived we were impressed firstly by the chalet then continually impressed by the hosts Nikki and Dan who made our stay just like home, for there first year as hosts and learning to board also top marks x
The chalet itself is situated about 5 mins from the main lifts which is no problem as the bus stop is straight outside Mountain Mavericks also run a shuttle bus that will move you around inclusive thanks to Luke and the rest of the team even if you go (out,out)..... running till 1AM
The town is as pretty as picture and the people are the most friendly of any French resort I have stayed in the hire skis were even delivered and collected from the chalet, thats service
All told location, staff, chalet, food, skiing top marks, my team and I will defiantly be back
Thanks to the other guests for putting up with us...... ha they were lovely people

Many thanks to Ollie and Emma you are getting things right well done
Hope to see you all again soon
Regards D.Kirk and team

We had such a brilliant time at this chalet. Every care is taken to make sure your trip is as easy and hassle-free as possible – Mountain Mavericks organise your transfers from the airport, book your ski passes in advance, arrange for rental ski equipment to be delivered to the chalet on the first night. They're also on hand to give you lifts to and from the lifts and town, pretty much whenever you need it. Everyone is friendly and goes to every effort to make you feel welcome and looked after.

The chalet itself is lovely – spotlessly clean, rustic and cosy, well located... and the hot tub is always bubbling hot. Nathan and Natalia who were running the chalet when we were there were absolutely lovely, and the food they cooked was delicious.

We would 100% recommend this chalet to anyone. And we'll be going back next year!

Thank you!

Jamie and Flora

Our second fabulous stay in chalet le prele with 10 of us in all in the family! Nothing was too much trouble for all of the mountain mavericks team and we felt thoroughly spoilt! The attention to detail of the whole holiday was great. We ate exceedingly well...thanks to Tom and Jen and were chauffeured around to ski school, which was a pleasure. The only bad thing about our holiday was coming home!

We stayed in Le Prele for a week in Jan with friends. I firstly have to apologise for not signing the guestbook sorry guys totally forgot. Dave and Nicky are a fabulous couple and could not have done more for us. The food was top notch as was the service. Really enjoyed the afternoon we had on the hill together.Le Prele is a fabulous chalet. I do hope to stay with you both again.
Second week spent on a Snowboard camp in Atelier with Dan and Ems. Equally fabulous hosts and another top couple. Great fun was had for the week.I filled in the guest book here so I will not swell your heads anymore Guys. Top Job. Great Chalet too.
Thanks to Olly and Emma for running a Great business, Emma you were great before we arrived getting it all organised, Olly you were great on and off the hill, we had some good laughs. Been to Morzine before with other Chalet companies but they are not a patch on Mountain Mavericks. Highly recommended. Will be back for sure.

So pleased that I was able to enjoy this wonderful chalet once again. It's simply breathtaking – incredibly cosy, stylish and the perfect place to unwind after a day of skiing. Also, I was so impressed with our lovely hosts, who prepared the most amazing meals to cater for my vegan diet. Highly recommended!

We had a great time at this chalet. Its location is not central but bus services A & D served us well. They also have a courtesy bus to take you to and from the ski lifts morning and evening. The room was good but it would be more sensible to have a curtain across the opening to the bathroom. The WiFi was good. The hot tub was much appreciated each evening. Henry and Emma provided the "cabaret" as well as excellent service each day. We used this as our base for snow hiking and it was an excellent choice. We may well return next year!

This chalet is breathtakingly beautiful, very spacious and offers an impressive love of detail. I loved the open interior design, the classy furniture and of course the outdoor hot-tub. Plus, the hosts were extremely welcoming. Definitely the perfect place to unwind and to have an amazing time.

Situated on the outskirts of the town I thought this was going to be a pain to get to lifts or town. But Mavericks have it all covered. Not only do the hosts cook clean and keep you smiling they also run a personal bus service to and from town and the lifts. Talk about feeling special!
Food was great, we shared with a group we hadn't met before but as with most ski/board trips everyone gets on. The chalet is gorgeous, the pics dont do it justice, bedrooms on ground floor living space and one bedroom middle floor and to lounge and bedroom top floor. Plenty of bathrooms too.
The bad stuff? Well not much really but trying to be neutral the hot tub isn't as well situated as it is on their other chalet latelier as it is slightly in the wind and in view of the road, nothing they can do about this though.
The hosts day off breakfast could have been more engaging. No pastries or bread and cheese, just cereal and yoghurt.
But these are small things in the grand scheme of it and bearing in mind dan and nikki had only just started working for Ollie and Emma and were a few weeks in they are doing an outstanding job all told.
Yes you can get closer to the slopes but there is no need to with the bus service, yes you can find cheaper but trust me bad food and an Uncomfy bed will make you wish you had spent a few quid extra for this vip service. Great value, great chalet, great company.
