Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I was a solo traveller in Morzine for four days and I couldn't have wished for a beeter place to stay. I was made to feel welcome straight away, the facilities are excelletn and the restaurant serves fantastic Asian Food. I stayed in a bed dorm which was cleaned daily, had a great shower and bathroom and was really comfortable. Breakfast is decent and included in the price. If you are going to Morzine to ride mountain bikes, this place is perfect. They have a secure bike storage room with a full set of bike tools, all free for guests to use. It's literally a five minute pedal to either the Super Morzine or Pleney lifts. I would stay here again without hesitation!!

Clean bathroom and room, good beds. The bathroom is small with a good working shower. Friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast buffet. It´s nice that they leave the leftover croissants at the reception for anyone who feels like it. We also had a delicious meal in their restaurant. Good location of the hostel in the village and close to supermarket, sports facilities, etc.

Restaurant is absolutely awesome, the food is amazing; some of the best Asian food we've had. Staff were lovely and friendly and the service was quick too. Along with this, the music and atmosphere was unmatched with cool decor and some great tunes playing in the background. Would highly recommend for a meal out or even just a drink at the bar, would go back again anytime.

Hideaway Morzine is honestly incredible!! Mind-blowing food, great service and reasonably priced, ticks every box. The broccoli was one of the best things I’ve ever tasted…. Highly recommend this place for dinner, a must when in Morzine!

Class location, right in the centre of town great walking distance to bars and pubs. Although no need to venture far as some of the best food in town just downstairs in the restaurant and great bar vibe later on. Room was perfect, it had everything needed and bed was super comfy. Slept like a log with no noise from anything going on downstairs below. Just what was needed.

Lovely food lovely staff great atmosphere but not reccomended If you don't want to spend well over 20 euros on food. Portions are incredibly small. Overall very nice but very very very expensive, you will either leave hungry or with a big hole in your pocket.

Couldn't have asked anymore from Hideout Hostel, ideal location, amazing staff and lovely rooms! We went as a large group, and from start to finish we loved out stay. Breakfast was great every morning! The food in the evening was incredible (pre book though as its very popular). Thank you for an amazing stay!

Nice friendly staff. But some key problems: Small crowded rooms. Slight smell issues apparently due to drains. No hang out / chill out zone. No cooking facilities / kettle leaving you slightly high and dry in between getting off the mountain and dinner. Transfers - Hideout recommended two transfer companies for trip to Geneva - which I booked assuming they’d be competitive but turned out they charged me 3x what other guests said they had paid booking their transfer independently. Overall I was fairly disappointed.

The best Nasi goreng I have ever had! The staff are lovely, the food is insane, the drink options are fantastic and it’s just the most lovely place. 7 of us went for dinner and it was perfect. Everyone loved all of the food they ordered and it was a great end to my mates week in morzine. The rosè was also phenomenal. Thank you hideout.
