Detailed Reviews
Stayed with family and friends.
This place is clean, tidy and very friendly.
If your looking to spend your time on the slopes and not spending a small fortune on a bed to sleep in this place ticks all the boxes🥇
Nice breakfast to get your day going and room cleaned for you, bus stop literally outside the door but still not a long walk after a meal out and a few sociable 🍻

I’ve stayed at the Nant with friends on a few occasions. We have always enjoyed our stay and have now returned on numerous occasions.
Kit and Maddy were the hosts who set out breakfast and they were very accommodating and always had a smile.
They addressed any questions or requests quickly and efficiently.
This trip we stayed in a mix of rooms from ‘budget twins’ to triple and quad rooms.
The rooms were all more than adequate for our needs, very clean and lots of hot water and the beds we’re comfortable.
There is an honesty bar system for beers and wine and complimentary tea and coffee is available ‘out of hours’.
The breakfast is a continental set up and the new coffee machine at breakfast was appreciated by our group.
Bethan and Ryan are great at communicating pre-arrival and departure info.
It’s a great place to stay for a few days for travellers seeking accommodation on a price conscious trip.
Thanks again Kit, Maddy, Bethan & Ryan.
Best regards
Richie.

Absolute Gem! Looking for accommodation on a budget? Look no further... Small, clean and comfortable hotel with über friendly and helpful staff. One of the owners (Matt) was very happy to provide hints and tips about the best runs to ski - just like having your own personal tour guide! Comfortable beds (Ideal as I need my sleep). Tasty and plentiful continental brekkie to pre-charge for a day on the slopes. Ideally located on bus route to the lifts (3mins). Will be heading back next year...

The rooms look nothing like the pictures on their website. Room had no double glazing, bathroom incredibly small and all plastic ! Bedding old and tired, need new pillows as they are flat. The good points, staff very friendly and helpful. Great fresh breakfast. Good location as free parking across the road and the free bus stops outside front door, the bus service does stop early at night so do have to walk back from town but only about 15 to 20 min walk.

The Nant is a great find in Morzine and i would definitely return. Staff were great, good breakfast, rooms clean and well within budget. The bus stops outside although its only 10 minute walk to the super morzine lift. Staff also gave us a 20% discount voucher to use at Skiset when hiring equipment.

Just did a 6 night stay at The Nant with my son on a mountain biking trip.
I was very impressed indeed. Nice clean hostel with great character. Clean and tidy small twin room with a good shower and bathroom, and a balcony. The inclusive continental breakfast was excellent and there's a pool table room alongside the entrance hall.
Bike garage was spacious and secure, with a brilliant free bikewash. Just a short 5 min spin to the liftS, or a 10 min walk to the main centre.
Communication was great from start to finish and the staff I met were really friendly and helpful.
The honesty bar was a nice touch and probably cheaper than the supermarket for a cold coke or beer!!
There's a big free carpark right across the road (summer only apparently) which was ideal to park the van.
Okay, so it's not plush and luxurious but we didn't expect that and the value for what you pay is second to none. Highly recommended.

+1
On arriving The Nant looked very shabby and tired, our room 102 was totally unacceptable for two people with two suitcases. It comprised of 2 single beds, 2 extremely small bedside racks with hanging space for about 3 items, a shelf with a hair dryer. NO wardrobe, drawers, or bedside light. Difficult to get round the room with cases on the floor. Small pod bathroom with mould in the shower, nowhere to put damp towels. We stayed 1 night then had to find alternative accommodation.

What a find!! Excellent location out of the busy area but brilliant links to town on bus or a 10 min walk to bars and shops. Room was superb, comfy bed, hot shower, mountain views, plenty of storage and exceptionally priced for what you get. The breakfast was lovely, and the host Ryan full of local knowledge, welcoming and so pleasant. Other features is the pool table, drying room and nice outdoor space. Will definitely book again.

One of the best places to stay in.
The staff was very helpful especially Jessica.
They have provided to us a good breakfast every single morning plus the amazing table pool and table games.
We are willing to come back next year.

My stay at the Nantegue is probably my worst holiday ever. First of all they didn't pick me up as arranged at Geneva airport. After waiting for almost an hour I called the transfer company, and after a bunch of frantic calls it turned out that Ski Morzine, the owners of the Nantegue filed to inform the transfer company of my arrival. By the time all these phone calls were over I had been waiting an hour and a half. Then I was stranded in Geneva having to find accomodation Friday night.
Saturday I again made my way out to the airport and was finally taken to the Nantegue. The rooms are relatively cheap and you get what you pay for. Servicing your room basically means that they make your bed and put toilet cleaner in the toilet. There is no through cleaning of the room or bathroom. We visited the Nantegue once before in 2010 - during a 2 week stay they did not once clean our bathroom, despite our requesting this.
A few days later my bike was stolen from the Nantegue. On their website they advertise "safe and secure lockup" so I thought all was good but brought a lock for good measure. My bike was locked in their locked garage and was stolen together with another bike. The manager claimed this was opportunistic and that one of the guests probably left the door open. However the only two bikes that were stolen were locked, whilst there were a number of other downhill bikes that were not locked. It is not as though you just walk around with a pair of bolt cutters, so it seemed this theft was planned. At the same time we discovered that the Nantegue hadn't changed the lock code on the door for over a year. When faced with these issues the manager was extremely arrogrant, and denied any liability whatsoever: When I asked how he could maintain that the chaltet was "safe and secure" he stated "I think it is" - "but how can you say that when bikes are getting stolen". This kind of summarised the discussion - round and round without going anywhere. He was just as unfriendly when I said that my insurance would only cover 1/3 of the price of the bike and whether they would be willing to cover some of the cost. Not at all.
So ultimately I spent a lot of money not to get picked up at the airport and to have my bike stolen. Never Ever stay at the Nantegue or with Ski Morzine - do so at your and your wallet's peril!!
