Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

From the moment you are greeted at the door you really are made to feel that you are staying in the home of a very special friend! The champagne is free flowing the fires always burning. Nothing is too much trouble as we are prepared for not only fantastic skiing but also 5 star apres!

Our end-of-summer trip to Chalet Fourmiliere was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, Tom and Alex's warm welcome set the tone for an exceptional experience. The chalet exudes cozy elegance inside and out, and we particularly loved lazy mornings and evenings on the covered veranda gazing at the incredible mountain views... and of course, indulging on the incredible food and drink on offer too! Visiting for the first time with a baby on board, we were delighted by just how family friendly the chalet is and the thoughtful setup provided by Tom and Alex. They had everything covered, nothing was too much trouble, and they helped to make our stay incredibly easy and enjoyable Tom and Alex know the area like the back of their hand. They gave us endless tips for a range of outdoor activities come rain or shine, and went to every length to make sure we didn't waste a moment of our holiday. We left another great trip to the mountains feeling fully refreshed and reinvigorated, with cherished memories and a desire to return once again. Couldn't recommend Chalet Fourmiliere more for an outstanding Alpine getaway!

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, Alex and Tom were unbelievable hosts. So welcoming, informative and friendly - they gave us so many tips for things to do in the area, and when we wanted to just chill they created the most relaxing atmosphere back at the chalet. The chalet itself is wonderful - with an impressive dining area, lots of places to unwind and great bedrooms - quiet, comfortable and huge beds. Everything you could ask for. The outside space is also perfect - plenty of space to chill, including the hot tub which was great to unwind in after a long day out walking. We will definitely be returning!

We had a summer stay in this absolutely beautiful chalet in Morzine. The place is really luxurious, the bedroom we stayed in had a huge comfy super king bed, there is a beautiful lounge with a grand fireplace and the dining area is top-notch. There is a fully stocked bar with a great selection of everything you could want. The owners Tom and Alex give the warmest reception and are happy to go out of their way to book any trips or meals. This is a wonderful place, has lots of charm, the staff give it plenty of atmosphere and will definitely return.

We spent a week here in the summer and had the best time ever. So many activities to do - beautiful hikes, white water rafting and long lunches on the mountain in the sun. The chalet itself is just wonderful. Our room felt so calm, big comfy beds and every detail thought of. There’s a cosy covered sofa area outside with a heater which is perfect for sitting with a glass of something after a long day. And the hot tub is fabulous even in the sunshine! Highly recommended this beautiful chalet!

We stayed at Chalet Fourmiliere in late April and had the most wonderful experience. Alex & Tom are the most fabulous hosts, no request is too much and they went over and above to ensure all guests had a truly restful, relaxing and wonderful holiday. The team looking after us were also great, making sure we were comfortable, well fed and watered throughout the day and making the best fires to relax in front of every afternoon. Special mention to their amazing chef, Ben, who curated some delicious and beautiful dishes throughout our stay. Every amenity is thought of - from luxury Molton Brown items in the bathrooms to snugly dressing gowns, fluffy slippers and a British adapter/extension lead, making your stay hassle free. The beds and bedding are exceptionally comfortable and the mountain views as you wake in the morning are sights to be rivaled. Thank you all for a restful, luxurious and truly wonderful holiday - can't wait to return soon!

We stayed at Chalet Fourmiliere for the last week of March. Our group was three families all with children aged between 4 and 9. We had the most wonderful time, the chalet is well set out, extremely spacious and luxurious. Having a driver makes getting to the slopes stress free and Tom the owner helped us on several mornings too. Nothing is too much trouble, the team made us feel utterly pampered. We had fantastic food courtesy of their extremely talented chef Ben and the drinks are the best quality; premium spirits, champagne and a really lovely selection of wine. Alex and Tom have a clear vision of what they want to deliver to guests; a home from home luxury experience in the mountains where everyone can relax - they certainly achieved it last week. We will be back!!

This was our 3rd visit to this amazing chalet and we hope it will not be our last. The owners and the staff will do everything in their power to make your stay perfect and memorable. Nothing is too much trouble. All the meals we had were exceptional and a great deal of trouble and effort goes into meeting everybody's dietary requirements. The chef and the staff are superb and they all felt like our best friends by the end of the week! All the bedrooms are beautifully appointed and the little luxuries, such as Molton Brown toiletries, are a lovely treat. The living areas feel sumptuous and relaxing by the enormous fire in the evening with a glass of champagne (which is constantly topped up!!) is a memory that will never fade. Thank you Tom and Alex and all your fantastic team. We can't wait to return to your heavenly chalet in the Alps.
