Bright modern rooms that retain the historic charm of the building. We are situated in the hamlet of Brooms Green, just outside the lovely market town of Ledbury on the Gloucestershire and Herefordshire borders. We are in an ideal location to explore the beautiful countryside of Herefordshire and Gloucestershire. Local walks abound and cycling from the house is easy. Footpaths include the Poets Paths and Daffodil Way. We are on the Ledbury Cycle Loop and Newent Cycle Trail. We are close to the Malvern Hills and wedding venues at Eastnor Castle, Homme House and Birtmorton Court. We are within 30 to 40 minutes of Cheltenham, Hereford, Gloucester and Worcester. A secluded and spacious garden with seating areas to view the views of May Hill or just relax. Junction 2 on the M50 motorway is easily accessible about 2 miles away. Ample secure parking

Detailed Reviews
We stayed for two nights in this excellent B+B while visiting nearby Ledbury for the Poetry Festival. The house is in a very rural and peaceful location, but the drive into Ledbury was short and easy, making it a very convenient place to stay for this event.
The owners, Chris and Jackie, were friendly and helpful and we appreciated Jackie's knowlegeable interest in the Dymock poets; a group which included Edward Thomas and Robert Frost. She was able to tell us about walks in the area with links to the poets.
The standard of the accommodation was very high in all respects, with excellent breakfasts and lovely rooms. We hope to visit again in future.

We needed somewhere to stay for 2 nights while attending a wedding at Eastnor Castle in Ledbury. The Horseshoe Inn House was a great find. Less than 15 minutes from Eastnor Castle and Ledbury, and minutes from the M50, yet along a quiet country road meant it was an ideal location. It provided such a relaxed and hospitable base for us. Jackie made us so welcome, and cooked delicious breakfasts. She also helped advise on good local restaurants and taxi firms. As well as comfortable en suite bedrooms, we had our own dining and sitting room with a conservatory leading onto the garden with splendid views across the countryside. Thoroughly recommend this as a great base for this area.

We arrived rather late in the evening but that was no problem for our hosts, they made us very welcome and put the kettle straight on (a big bonus in my book!) and helped us unload our bikes and lock them in the shed which was nice and secure. We'd brought some food with us for dinner as there's no nearby pub and Jackie gave us some plates and let us use the dining room. The guest wing is separate from the main house and even has its own living room with TV! We had the best night's sleep on wonderfully comfortable mattresses and everywhere was nice and clean and new. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast with a wonderfully ripe fruit salad. We would definitely return here! Thank you for making us so welcome!

I have stayed in many B&B's and this is by far the best! From the moment we arrived I knew our stay would be special. We had a very warm welcome from Jackie who showed us to our beautifully decorated room with top spec en suite, lovely dining room and conservatory to the glorious cosy, snug lounge complete with log burner which was just right when arriving on a wet, windy day. What sets the Horseshoe Inn House apart is the attention to detail, from the stylish decor and soft furnishings to the tea making facilities with delicious homemade biscuits in a jar. I was staying with my 7 year old daughter who was made very welcome. Jackie was very thoughtful and offerred Petit Filous at breakfast and off menu boiled egg and soldiers! Our stay was simply perfect and we cannot wait to go back and stay again ... love, love, love!!

The Horseshoe Inn House was our home for almost one week in early September, and my husband and I could not have been more delighted with our accommodations and the friendliness and hospitality of hostess and host Jackie and Chris. From delicious breakfasts to letting us do laundry to valuable advice about activities and historical perspectives to providing a most comfortable bed for our happy but tired (from being so busy!!!) bodies at the end of the day, Jackie and Chris and their lovely home made our stay perfect. Thank you, Jackie and Chris-we will be back! Sandy and Bill Stewart

The Horseshoe Inn House had everything we needed and we will be back next year. It is exceptionally clean and comfortable. Towels, flannels, soap and gels are provided. The showers have good power and hot water. There is a freeview TV in each room and free WiFi. The rooms are very quiet and the gardens well kept. There is a large range of food available for breakfasts, from toast, jams, yoghurt, range of cereals to freshy cooked full breakfasts. Very happy with our choice thank you.

Jackie and Chris did everything to make us feel at home. The bed was wonderful, breakfast excellent. The whole property is quiet and secluded. Thank you both for going the extra mile to make things easy for us.

I stayed for two nights, in single occupancy of a double room.
The Gloucestershire–Herefordshire border runs past the entrance to the grounds; and though the postal address is Dymock, Gloucestershire, the hotel is well-placed for accessing the Herefordshire town of Ledbury, and for exploring both counties. It is reached along well-maintained country roads and lanes, and traffic on the M50 motorway, two miles away, is inaudible.
The quiet, the comfortable and spacious room, the tasteful décor, the excellent breakfasts and the hosts' welcome were all memorable. Also worthy of mention are the large, well-kept garden and the fact that the dining-area includes the conservatory.

Formerly the village pub, the Horseshoe now has new purpose built adjacent bed and breakfast accommodation offering excellent private rooms furnished to a high standard. We enjoyed a very friendly and comfortable stay walking and visiting the many lovely countryside spots in the area. Highly recommended.
