Bright modern rooms that retain the historic charm of the building. We are situated in the hamlet of Brooms Green, just outside the lovely market town of Ledbury on the Gloucestershire and Herefordshire borders. We are in an ideal location to explore the beautiful countryside of Herefordshire and Gloucestershire. Local walks abound and cycling from the house is easy. Footpaths include the Poets Paths and Daffodil Way. We are on the Ledbury Cycle Loop and Newent Cycle Trail. We are close to the Malvern Hills and wedding venues at Eastnor Castle, Homme House and Birtmorton Court. We are within 30 to 40 minutes of Cheltenham, Hereford, Gloucester and Worcester. A secluded and spacious garden with seating areas to view the views of May Hill or just relax. Junction 2 on the M50 motorway is easily accessible about 2 miles away. Ample secure parking

Stayed two nights, so comfortable and cosy despite the snow that arrived whilst we were there. Jackie a delight to deal with and had appeared to think of everything we needed including an excellent welcome pack in the kitchen. Both bedrooms very comfortable with Ensuites. Log burner loaded and ready to light in lounge. Shopping in Cheltenham was great and so was the cider making course done locally.

What a find! Incredibly spacious, clean and beautiful cottage. Jackie has thought of everything. No need to bring anything - a wonderful choice of teas and coffees, decaf and herbal included, plus a lovely welcome pack with local produce and bread and milk. The children loved the space, the books, the tv in their bedroom, the garden, the fire and the comfortable beds. The parents loved the space, the well equipped cupboards, the huge array of books, walking and cycling leaflets, the conservatory and cosy lounge and everything about it! Jackie and Chris are so welcoming and lovely to talk to. If you want to unwind and get away from it all in a lovely place that is fantastic value then we recommend staying here. We will certainly return.

This is a truly lovely bed and breakfast. We have been once before and will go again! Can't recommend it enough. Our hosts are extremely friendly and welcoming and like to have a chat. They gave us useful information about local shops, garden centres etc.

We had two nights' B&B while attending the Hay festival. The rooms are comfortable and well-appointed, the ensuite shower powerful and hot, and the welcome warm and hospitable. Jackie also makes a splendid breakfast, with the choice of a satisfying and filling full English, or lighter options such as scrambled eggs. The ingredients are local and clearly of the highest quality. There is ample cereal, toast and some very fine fresh-pressed apple juice. There are two double bedrooms and they have access not only to a dining room, but also a full-equipped kitchen, a lounge and a conservatory. This would be an excellent choice for a more extended stay either as a B&B or self-catering. Highly recommended.

Jackie Tweedale is a thoughtful and welcoming host, who provides an excellent standard of hospitality. The rooms are spacious, well-appointed and immaculately clean. The breakfast is delicious, with sausages, bacon and eggs all from nearby. There is a kitchen for self-caterers, which bed and breakfast customers can also use, and a comfortable lounge and conservatory looking over the garden. Highly recommended

We made use of Jackie's annex on a self catering basis for five nights and couldn't have been more comfortable. We were given a warm welcome on arrival and shown around the annex which was warm and clean. There was the first bedroom with a big superking sized bed in it and plenty of storage space, a tv, and an ensuite bathroom with bath. A second bedroom had a king sized double and ensuite shower. Then there was the lounge with big comfy chairs and sky tv, a spacious dining room with plenty of seating opening onto a bright conservatory with a glorious outlook onto the back garden, complete with pheasants, woodpecker and rabbits! Not forgetting a small but perfectly adequate kitchen complete with cooker, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine - all of which had essentials like washing tablets, cling film, etc etc all supplied. As well as a supply of milk, tea, coffee, freshly made cake, butter, eggs, and bread. Absolutely everything one could need for a first night at least. We found the bed to be delightfully comfortable, the area to be quiet and peaceful, Jackie and Chris to be helpful without being intrusive (they live next door). The whole experience was a joy and we'll make this our base for our next visit to the area. A car is need to get about, but the roads are quiet and it's easy to get to places like Ledbury, Malvern, Hereford, Ross on Wye. We used the train to get to Worcester (free parking at Ledbury or Malvern station).…

Stayed for one night at this excellent B and B. Jackie, came out to meet us when we arrived and we felt welcome straight away. Lovely room with personal touches that gave it such a homely feel. The use of a visitors lounge made our stay extra special as I was able to watch sky sports on t.v. and catch up with the England Cricket team's progress! (Even if they were to lose!). Breakfast was very good and Jackie had made sure decaffeinated coffee/tea were available too. Overall it is the family atmosphere and extra little touches that make this B and B very special - come and see for yourselves and enjoy a great night's sleep in a wonderful bed.

We had a two night stay at this bed and breakfast which was really enjoyable. Jackie our host couldn't have been friendlier going the extra mile to cater for our every need. There was lovely lounge with TV and also a conservatory to relax in. Breakfast choice was excellent with delicious locally sourced fresh produce. One nice touch was refrigerated fresh milk for your tea and coffee in the bedroom. If you are looking to stay in this area, then look no further than the Horseshoe Inn House. i

We arrived rather late in the evening but that was no problem for our hosts, they made us very welcome and put the kettle straight on (a big bonus in my book!) and helped us unload our bikes and lock them in the shed which was nice and secure. We'd brought some food with us for dinner as there's no nearby pub and Jackie gave us some plates and let us use the dining room. The guest wing is separate from the main house and even has its own living room with TV! We had the best night's sleep on wonderfully comfortable mattresses and everywhere was nice and clean and new. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast with a wonderfully ripe fruit salad. We would definitely return here! Thank you for making us so welcome!
