I stayed here for weeks, on business. So good, I just kept going back. The food is outstanding, the rooms are spotless. The service wonderful. A quiet, picturesque haven of tranquillity. I cannot recommend this place enough.

We found this place on Late Rooms and chose it mainly because it had availability for the specific night we wanted and isn't too far from Welshpool (a 15min or so drive away). The location is actually one of the best things about this B&B as it's a stone's throw from the A483. Other good points: free wifi (that works!),... More

We were visiting the area to meet relatives and stayed one night B&B. The Hotel was very easy to find, clear signposting on the main road and on arrival, there was plenty of room to park without having to make any awkward maneuvers. We had a friendly welcome, our room was very clean and brightly lit and warm. There was... More

Stayed here for 1 night. A lovely old building, very quaint. Beautiful garden and outside seating area. Good shower and bathroom. Friendly and helpful hosts. Excellent fairtrade teabags in room and nice china cups and saucers. Fluffy towels. Breakfast was tasty, just right portions. Didnt have fresh coffee though. Close to castle...amazing walk up there marred by thoughtless dog owners... More

Myself and a few friends have used the hotel as a base for motorcycling around Mid. Wales. We simply can't fault it. The food is great, the owners so helpful and the location is ideal. Good value for money too. We'll be back!! Ray B.
