Ideal location for a restful stay while taking in all the Roman sites along the Wall. Nice welcome. Rooms comfortable and bright, great views out of the bedroom windows. Modern décor, excellent breakfasts. No negatives.

We had rooms in the lodge which is only two years old and has spectacular views over the surrounding farm. Bedrooms and bathrooms are modern and comfortable, and well insulated so very warm and cosy. The lodge has a glorious sitting room and leather couches with wonderful views. The property would be tricky to access (or to go out for...

Well-appointed, welcoming b&b in the middle of nowhere; substantial pre-ordered supper; delicious breakfast providing ample energy for the day's walk ahead. The conversion of the original farm buildings has been sympathetically achieved. Leah and Kevin were attentive and friendly hosts. We hope to return for a longer stay!

This b&b is a hop, skip and a jump from Hadrian's Wall. It has stunning views and the facilities are absolutely first rate. There was so much attention to detail that we were wandering round admiring everything. But - being townies we had not questioned the range of places to eat close by that is mentioned in the booking confirmation....

We stayed here for one night, and we enjoyed our stay. We were the only ones staying which was a bonus. Breakfast was good too. The room was slightly cold, however the cold snap had just set in. Overall good stay, but was just a little too cold in the night to be really comfy

Amazing place. Definitely one of the best B&B We have ever been. It was our second visit and it was as good as the first time. Absolutely love this place! Delicious breakfast with beautiful view, could sit there all day long and relax. But so much to do in this area so no chance :). Definitely coming back.
