Nestled on a hillside overlooking Dale Bay and running alongside the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, Point Farm Campsite is a secluded site just a 5 minute walk from Dale village. Perfect for couples, small groups and families; Point Farm Campsite has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and is ideally situated for exploring the breath-taking beaches, historic castles and Skomer Island. Just 6 camping pitches - 3 all weather with electric hook up and 3 grass for tents only - plus two luxury, fully equipped Shepherd's Huts sleeping 4. With 5* facilities - including plenty of hot water on tap, family changing, hot water wash up, fridges and freezers, fire pits on each pitch and most importantly peace and space, Point Farm Campsite provides everything you need for the best camping experience you can find! The ancient woodland between us and the sea provides glimpses of the moorings below whilst granting shelter during windier times. We are genuinely in a unique position at the edge of the Dale peninsula – close enough to the village and the surrounding beaches to not require a car but remote enough to get away from it all - where you can enjoy cosy nights around the fire pit, stargazing at the milky way - perfect for couples, small groups and families. Oh yes and dog friendly too!

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We love this place and come back year after year. Simple facilities are clean and practical. Love the fridge-freezer access, and great showers. The location is idyllic, with beaches, great walking and good places to eat really close. Fil and Nia are really welcoming and get the right balance of being there to help and leaving everyone to enjoy the serene location.

This is a lovely campsite with lovely views. The toilets and showers were lovely and clean and the owner is very accommodating as we had to add an extra person onto our trip as theirs was cancelled. Kids loved the cows on a morning and the field was big enough for them to play in. Would definitely recommend this site to anyone who asked

This beautiful site is well-maintained by the family owners, and is in such a beautiful location - couldn't ask for better! I like that it's relatively small, niche - not hoards of tents and camper vans everywhere. The toilet/shower facilities are carefully designed and well built, you can tell that a lot of thought went into it all. With plenty of fridge space, microwave, kettle etc, and plenty of clearly labelled waste/recycling bins, it's very well equipped. And the host family are all lovely - I will definitely be returning at the next opportunity! Thanks again, Iona

Excellent campsite and one we would visit again. Very peaceful with no roadside or distant motorway noise, just birds, bumble bees and the odd moo. Limited to six pitches, which also makes for a quiet time and a nice place to hang out. Good clean facilities. We had two sea kayaks on a trailer and the owners allowed us to keep them tucked out of the way in their car park. They advised us the the Griffin pub corner is tight, but we managed it with the trailer ok.

A wonderful campsite, small and really nicely laid out with extra welcome touches like a kettle and spare pegs and a mallet for campers to borrow. Fil the owner greeted us on arrival and brought firewood. Enjoyed making use of the firepit. Would definitely recommend and hope to return. Toilets clean and shower hot! Within walking distance to really good eating places. Also right on the coast path and the Dale peninsula makes a lovely walk.

Amazing campsite with all the facilities you could need with the bonus of a fire pit for each pitch! Fil greeted us, made us feel very welcome and helped us get the most out of our short stay in Dale. Dale itself is beautiful and has the most amazing community feel, we can’t wait to visit again and have a pint on the wall!

A beautiful spot, a few minutes walk from the coast and a fabulous pub (The Griffen) and tapas restaurant (Cocos) - the location could not be better. Very tranquil as it’s a small site. We stayed in the Puffin Shepherd Hut and found it very comfortable and a very well equipped kitchen area. Loved the fire pit and comfy chairs. The fact that we thought the only thing missing was a toaster (!) tells you just how good the set up was! We look forward to returning.

Stayed there for a bank holiday weekend recently, could not fault it. Looked after well by the owners who made us feel very welcome (unusual nowadays). All set up for an original old fashioned camping experience with campfire. Will be returning in the future no doubt.
