A secluded and peaceful site that the owners take care to not overcrowd so everyone has space. The costal path is just behind the row of trees and there are brilliant walks literally from the entrance with Dale and its eating places 5 minutes walk away. the shepherds hut, Puffin, where I stayed was really nicely put together with the open kitchen area that came with it which was lovely. Possibly the addition of a microwave or grill could be useful but theres always the firepit. the shower inside the hut was lovely and hot. the hosts are really helpful and friendly, Fil could always been seen up and down with his trailer making sure everyone had wood for the firepits, etc. Just after arrival I sent pictures home hence my daughter and some others are already looking at coming down there-I will be back

We couldn’t recommend this campsite enough - as soon as we arrived to our incredibly well maintained pitch, Fil came to meet us to help us settle in! Loos and showers were SO clean, and it’s a short walk from Westdale bay where I got engaged ☺️ ! After a day on the boats seeing the puffins , and a lovely bbq at the campsite , he couldn’t have chosen a more romantic spot. The beach’s are never really busy, and I hope it stays that way! We took our wetsuits and went swimming - would recommend.
We ate at the Griffin Pub which has local seafood to die for - everything fresh and caught by local fishermen. The staff there were so lovely, and we all spent the evening in the sun on the wall opposite the beach drinking in the sun and celebrating! Honestly couldn’t speak more highly of how special they made us feel, as well as how lovely the locals are.
However if you wanted a more quiet trip, the campsite offers that too. Day and night it was peaceful, and it’s a small campsite so you never have issues when you want to use the loo or showers. They also offer a fridge microwave kettle and toaster.
A very short drive from the Skomer boat trips, the campsite has everything for modern and back to basics camping.
We’ll be returning :)

Beautiful camp site, with all you need and more, from very well kept bathroom facilities, to a toaster, fridge and freezer and a kettle.
The camping pitch sizes were perfect, with a camp fire you could use to BBQ, or like us, as a fire pit and enjoy the evening when it got a bit chilly.
The two huts on site looked very nice with great looking outdoor kitchens and dining facilities, so no tent or van, no bother, a hut would be perfect.
The campsite is a 5 minute walk down to Dale, a charming village with a pontoon, and a perfect beach for some water sports, which you can hire or bring your own. All the restaurants and bars are to be recommended, really nice choices from them all. I do recommend having a lovely drink at the Griffin while the sun goes down behind you while you gaze upon the majestic Milford Heaven oil refinery. Lovely.
The owners were delightful and helpful, especially Fil. Fil was an absolute star, very friendly on arrival and filled us in on all we needed to know about the site and the local area. Fil went above and beyond to help us when we were leaving, we somehow managed to lose one of our U bolts for the roof box, Fil not only helped us look for it with a metal detector, but when that ended in vain, he even managed to fabric a replacement for us from things he had in his workshop, absolute, legend.
Thank you again Fil, will be back and looking forward to it already.
All in all, it’s a top campsite, next to a fantastic village by the sea, and run by some of the nicest site owners you could meet, do yourself a favour and book a pitch, you won’t be disappointed.

The big draw of booking to stay at Point Farm camping is the closeness to lovely Dale Harbour. It is such a shame, that given you are so close to the sea that the campsite has no view of it at all! The campsite is small and set on a sloping site. The pitches for campers & motorhomes are level but small - only large enough for the van itself with not enough level space for setting out chairs etc. We have a small motorhome and struggled (as did our camper van neighbours) to set up chairs and table without being on a serious sloping wobble (not great after a glass of wine!!). I do think the site is far more suited to tents only. Indeed, the sunniest flattest pitches are the tent-only ones. My biggest negative however, is value for money for a motorhome pitch. At £36 per night (optional electric) plus £10 per night for 2 small dogs - meant our 2-night stay was £92. I do think this is expensive for a campsite which to be honest, had the feel of setting up in the owner’s front garden. And why do campsites feel the need to charge extra for dogs? We are responsible dog-owners & left no mess. They are no more of an inconvenience or imposition than children who are not charged for as extras!! Yes, we knew the costs when we booked but thought that it would be worth it for the views, and for what promised to be a really exceptionally stunning site. The facilities by way of showers & loo - were good - nice and clean. But then again - so they should be at any campsite. That said, the shower I used was noticeably only cleaned once over the weekend. The water is hot and limitless. But that shouldn’t be a reason to hike up prices in a campsite. Many sites now use a token system which is better value for money. And, as a MoHo normally has its own shower, I really can’t understand the more expensive charge. Yes, if you are using the EHU - but note there is even an added charge for this at this site as with many others these days. The owners were friendly and welcoming. We did still enjoy the weekend as the weather was lovely, we liked Dale, the seafood meal at The Griffon was delicious (a special birthday treat) & in particular, Dale West Bay beach is stunning. This review is an honest one from a MoHo owner.

Thank you for your detailed feedback. We appreciate your perspective and would like to clarify a few points based on your comments: Campervans vs. Motorhomes: We acknowledge that our site is designed for campervans, not motorhomes, and we provide size restrictions clearly throughout the booking process. We understand that this distinction is important for ensuring our campers have the right expectations. Sea Views: As stated on our website and in our descriptions, we do not offer direct sea views. Our site is located on a sloping area surrounded by trees, with only glimpses of the water. We strive to be transparent about this in our descriptions and photos. Pitch Sunlight: Our pitches receive varying amounts of sunlight throughout the day. We aim to provide a pleasant experience for all campers, with each pitch having its own characteristics. Pricing: We clearly detail our pricing, including charges for children and dogs and all extras. We aim to offer value for the facilities provided, and your feedback on this will be taken into account. Cleanliness of Facilities: We take pride in maintaining the cleanliness of our facilities, and we are pleased to receive positive feedback from the vast majority of our campers. We clean our showers daily and appreciate the positive reviews that reflect this. We appreciate your suggestions and will continue to work on improving our site.

As well as enjoying the long flat grass pitch with super firepit, we were really impressed with the kitchen 'hut' with plenty of fridge and freezer space, microwave, toaster, kettle and provision of local maps and books. Shower and toilets also fab, with washing up area by the side. 500 metres down the hill to local pub, beach cafe and yacht club, who all offered wide range of food. Super walks right on the doorstep.

Was met by Fil the campsite owner and was showed around the site, there were fridges and freezers, microwave, kettle in one hut, and then very clean toilets and showers in other huts. The grounds were immaculate, with fire pits in each of the pitches. He even got us firewood. Car park is right next to campsite which was great for unloading and loading. We were a group of 5 that were shark fishing so location couldn't have been any better. Fil would always come down to make sure everything was all good and to see if he could do anything for us. Keep doing what your doing guys.

This is a lovely campsite with lovely views. The toilets and showers were lovely and clean and the owner is very accommodating as we had to add an extra person onto our trip as theirs was cancelled. Kids loved the cows on a morning and the field was big enough for them to play in. Would definitely recommend this site to anyone who asked

Fabulous small site with lots of space on individual sites easy walking to lovely Dale with a good small shop and excellent eateries. We stayed in the very appointed shepherds hut, Puffin with lots of space, en-suite facilities and comfy bed. The covered outdoor kitchen/dining space let us feel a part of the great outdoors and connected to our camping families whilst being spoilt with a well set up cooking area. All in all a great camping experience, dog friendly, very clean and well maintained supported by friendly helpful owners. Lots of small thoughtful touches that make it feel very special.

Gorgeous little campsite a 5 minute walk to the village and beach. The campsite and facilities were all immaculate and the owners have thought of everything you might possibly need. Nia & Fil we’re really welcoming and laid back and we loved the touches like the table / bbq/ fire pit that comes with each pitch. This campsite is small but perfectly formed and we can’t wait to return.
