The grounds of the hotel are lovely and extensive. The location is superb for local eateries and seafront walking.
We initially were given a room above the kitchen which was noisy but we were soon moved to a quieter room on the 5th floor.
Just returned from the Lopesan and we had a fantastic time. From the moment we arrived, the reception staff made us feel special and we were allocated a room which was upgraded. The cleanliness of the hotel, the food and staff was excellent. The location...More

This isn't the most family-friendly of the lopesan hotels, if you had a choice then the Baobab might be a better option for making friends. Having said that, if you are already booked, I am sure she will have a good time - especially if she loves swimming. The pools at this place are amazing - ideal for water babies from age 2 to 82. The evening entertainment may, or may not appeal - everything from Chinese Acrobats to Il Divo tributes.
