Alison is the perfect hostess for Tregoose, a lovely country house/inn where we spent three nights. Upon our arrival, earlier than she had expected us, she made sure that our room was perfect and prepared tea and cake for us in the drawing room. Our ensuite room was comfortable and large, with a delightful view of the garden and woods... More

We stayed at Tregoose for two nights and liked it very much - it is a peaceful, elegant and very comfortable Georgian house with antique furniture, surrounded by a beautiful garden. Very warm welcome and delicious breakfast. The road to Truro is near, making Tregoose a good basis for trips to the Cornish coast or Bodmin Moor.

We were welcomed at Tregoose by Alison and Anthony. The house is a traditional large Georgian home, surrounded by delightful gardens lovingly maintained by Alison. Guests are welcome to wander around and admire the wonderful flowers and vegetables. Tregoose transports you back to a bygone era with its antique furniture, lovely wool blankets and crisp white linen. Nothing is too... More

This beautiful house is decorated with elegant antique furniture. Alison is a very friendly hostess, and keen gardener, which shows in the beautifully planned and well planted surroundings of the house. The only downside is that, as every surface has beautiful things on it, there was nowhere to act as a desk in the bedroom.

This is the place if you want something a bit upmarket. A real welcome awaits you in a beautiful house with lovely gardens. Alison greeted us with tea and cake in their elegant sittingroom. The views from the pretty bedroom were great,so relaxing we felt as if we were miles from anywhere but in reality were not too far from... More

We stayed for 2 nights at Tregoose, featured in Bed & Breakfast for Garden Lovers , Special Places to Stay and a member of the Wolseley Lodge Association. A comfortable small Georgian house peacefully situated in its own lovely gardens. Antiques, linen sheets, delicious food and charming, helpful owners. An ideal base to tour the famous Cornish gardens and visit... More
