What a little gem of a place, a clean and well maintained site ran by a family who arenpassionate about what they do . The holiday was a bargain for 7 nights and we got extra discounts by booking direct online. We wanted somewhere central with easy access to all of Cornwall and everywhere was within 55 minutes or less (traffic dependant) As a couple we did not want a park with clubs or entertainment so it suited us fine. We ate at a nice pub, the Chevington Arms about 5 minute walk away, also a bakery and petrol station next door. Easy access to the A30 was great. Although the currwnt road works are a bit of a pain
We stayed in the new Sycamore holiday home and it was immaculate, smelled new and we had no faults at all. Spacious for 2 and had the benefit of a balcony accessed by french doors with chairs. It had everything we needed for our hols and would not hesitate to visit again or recommend to others. The other caravans looked lovely and were well maintained. There are adult and family camping/caravan pitches on site too.

From the moment you drive in to this lovely quiet park, you can see just how well the site is lovingly cared for, by the hard working, friendly little family team who own the site.
Everything is so well cared for, from the grounds to the on site facilities, which are all
Immaculately clean and tidy.
This is our second holiday and we will return.
The Caravan is extremely clean and everything you could possibly want for you stay.
There is an information booklet, with local information and places to visit, Trevarth, is central to all the attractions that you will want to visit.
Don’t just think about visiting, book now you will not be disappointed.

This is the fourth time we've stay in one of the site caravans at Trevarth Holiday Park, the caravans are always immaculate and well maintained. The site is well kept. The owners are always friendly, approachable and do all they can to make our stay the best it can be. We are looking forward to returning again and again.

This site is in a great location for exploring Cornwall with most places under an hour away. Our party consisted of my father in law, partner, myself and our dog. We enjoyed our stay but wouldn’t stay again due to a few factors.

The site states dogs allowed and also charges to have have dogs stay. However, we didn’t find this site dog friendly. We understood we would have to exercise the dog off site but there is literally nowhere to walk your dog other than a busy road. You also have to walk your pet out of the site onto the main road using the road for vehicles to come in. My dog nearly got run over. I think it would be safer if a path could lead across the bottom of the playing field to make it safer for walking dogs out of the site. I don’t think this site can justify charging money for a dog to stay. We paid £14 for the dog to stay when the only thing he used was your water to drink. There are no facilities for the dog to use.

Upon arrival we were shown to our pitch but nothing was explained. The chemical disposal is behind the dishwashing shed in the next field which is fine but we had to ask another camper.

The shower facilities are clean however there wasn’t much pressure in the ladies due to the water pouring out of the push button. We never saw the people who welcomed us but met a lovely couple who were seasonal and helped us. The back field will become seasonal soon and the front field closest to the road will be for short stays. I wouldn’t have enjoyed my stay in the front field as you could hear the road noise. Luckily, we were in the back field so it was peaceful.

The water filling point was tricky because it had a step on it to put your bottle on when filling it up. However, it was heavy then to pull back off the step. Couldn’t add my hose fitting to fill it as it was a push tap so had to lift it on and off the step.

Overall this site was quiet and peaceful and in a great location. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t return due to having my dog and there not being a safe path to get to the front exit to walk my dog. I can’t justify paying for our dog on this site and feeling like the owners didn’t really want dogs on site. I would be happy to pay for my dog if he was truly welcomed.

We have been going here for several years and this year we asked if we could go seasonal and were delighted to be accepted. It's good to know that all seasonal pitch holders are interviewed face to face before acceptance. All seasonal pitches are fully serviced.
Trevarth is a fantastic family owned campsite, where the facilities are clean and the site well cared for. The family are really helpful and friendly, always willing to give advice on great places to go. There are loads of lovely walks to go on from the campsite that are also ideal if you have a dog, not to mention all the nearby beaches.
This is a peaceful place to stay with a lovely atmosphere. We highly recommend Trevarth holiday park.

We stayed for a week in September using our tourer.
The site itself is very clean and quiet (however slight road noise)
All facilities were closed due to covid however we were made aware of this prior to our visit.
If I had any gripe it would be that whilst we appreciate the current situation with covid we never saw the owners or staff once apart from on our arrival and this was literally a 2 minute conversation saying where our pitch was - maybe would have been nice for a little information and to the whereabouts of the facilities or just to check on us during our time there.
Not sure we would return as not very good for walking our dog from the site - main roads all around and it was a tad too quiet for our liking.
On saying this we enjoyed our week and the site is very centrally located for visiting the area.

Thank you for your review, I am glad you enjoyed your holiday. We did distance ourselves more than normal this year due to covid and were out on park to do any maintenance when people were out for the day, hence not seeing us too often. We took this approach to try and make people feel comfortable given the circumstances, but also if we were to contract Covid we would have been forced to close the park entirely, which would not be good for you as a customer or us as a family.

We are on our 3rd stay at Trevarth and have already booked 2 vans for next year. The site is very clean and immaculately kept. The vans are always fresh and super clean. The site is very quiet, which is what we like, if you want shops or takeaways, pubs etc, they are only a few minutes away by car and the coast is 10 minutes away by car if that.Perfect location, 45 minutes away from the opposite coast, ideal if you like to visit many of the beautiful locations on offer. The site owners are very friendly and helpful and have had excellent covid safety in place that made us feel comfortable during our holiday. The site has excellent parking and the new safety barrier makes it also feel very secure.Would highly recommend it and look forward to our next visit.

Our holiday was for a seven night stay in caravan number 2 As soon as we entered the caravan the stench was horrendous, it stank in most areas of the van, the floors in the both toilets were sticky, there were toilet brushes in both toilets without lids on them, the duvet cover stank, the knobs on the cooker were full of grease, the bay window outside was filthy with dirt, the hand rail leading up to the side door was all loose and rickety, the fridge door was all full of scratches and rust and the plastic was broken on the top of it. We stuck it out for one night only and left the next day, for us to leave and forfeit another £800 ish on a hotel in St Austell for the remainder of our stay says it all. We felt there was no way we could or should put up with such an horrendous stench and such filth around the van.

We are sad to hear you were unhappy with your caravan as we go to great lengths to try and make everyone’s stay as pleasant as possible and take great pride in our little park and service. We personally inspected the caravan after your departure and consequent email, but could not find any sign of a stench (the point in which you labour quite hard throughout your review), however the whole area on your day of arrival was suffering one of the unfortunate consequences of living in the country, and that is the spreading of manure, sadly this is out of our control and thankfully, only happens once in a while. Maybe this was the cause of the mystery smell? As there certainly was no such smell before or indeed, has there been since. As for sticky floors, greasy cooker knobs or indeed a smelly duvet cover, we could find no evidence of such issues, in fact the duvet cover was yours which you yourselves brought with you, as you did not hire bed linen from us, and the duvets themselves actually smelt quite pleasant from fabric conditioner. The toilet brushes you mention are in their proper holders as supplied by the manufacturer. You are correct there were a few scratches on the front of the fridge door, however the fridge is in perfect working order and was spotlessly clean but would admittedly benefit aesthetically from an upgrade. Funnily enough despite it being one of the older caravans on park we received a 5-star review for the same caravan just a few weeks previous. However, we do find the whole situation as well as your behaviour quite confusing, as at no point did you come to us to mention any issue. Even when we were talking to you personally at the caravan less than an hour after you had moved in. Would this not have been the perfect opportunity? You could have showed us the alleged issues, told us of your concerns at which point we could have addressed anything that needed addressing or even upgraded you to another caravan. We clearly stated should you need anything to just ask us, so why didn’t you? We are here to help. Or was there another reason for your early departure without so much as a word? If you have genuine concerns or are unhappy, please have the decency to come to us so that we can sort out any issue that there might be, as we bend over backwards to try and help all our customers.

We arrived on the 25th Sept for a weeks holiday. This is my partner's first time in Cornwall but I know the area quite well.

Our first caravan holiday for us both for many years! Couldn't fault the park, the owners put alot of hard work and attention to detail which is very much shown all round the park. Grounds were immaculate well kept. Our caravan was no.9 facing the owners block which was very clean the caravan looked like it had been very well looked after. A great base for a weeks holiday to come and go at our leisure!

Owners were very covid secure and the booking procedure was very well organised ringing up an hour before to book in and check caravan is ready great idea! Very quiet at night unlike many other sites which can be very noisy.

St Agnes is a stones throw from the site as is other coastal places. Good spot nearby for a meal is Miners Arms at Mithian. We will definitely be returning soon, thanks for making our holiday that much enjoyable and stress free!

Keep up the great work!
