We visited The Dandelion Hideway in August, and from the moment we entered the site it was pure magic. There were all sorts of wonderful animals, and lovely tents. There's just 6 of them, and each have a small porch, an outdoor seating area and a barbecue. The inside has plenty of space, and is absolutely beautiful. The farmer was... More

Just thinking about booking again for the fourth year running when I remembered I told Farmer John I would write a review upon my return. This is a trip like no other, but it's as much about what's missing, (TV, electricity, WiFi) as it is what replaces it, (monopoly, laughing, conversations). My sister, brother-in-law, our three teenagers and two dogs... More

It’s so very lovely and genuine of you to compliment us on our hosting. Our second visit to the wonderful Dandelion Hideaway, just as magical as the first. We absolutely love it here, being able to switch off and relax in the beautiful surroundings. The canvas cottages are cosy, very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The children loved milking the goats, visiting the newborns, pony grooming, collecting eggs from the hen house and kite flying... More

We just got back from a half term break at the dandelion hideaway. We had an absolutely amazing time getting away from it all and decompressing from our busy lives. The kids had a great time milking goats and collecting eggs, and for me the simplicity of building the fire and relaxing made it a break to remember. We can't... More

Visited with family and friends over school half term. Had a mixed bag of weather but it didn't stop us having a great time, if it rained we sat under cover with a fire pit roaring roasting marshmallows and when the sun came out we played games, laughed and explored the farm and countryside. farm owners,Sharon and John were great and... We have just returned from our second visit of the season to The Dandelion Hideaway and can not thank Farmer John and Sharon enough. We were very much in need of rest and relaxation which we managed in abundance. We've laughed, played, chatted, rested, stroked the baby goats, milked the big goats, groomed the ponies, fetched the eggs and toasted... More

What a lovely anniversary weekend we have just spent here! A weekend never usually seems long enough when you go away, you get back and feel like it flew by, but being unplugged from modern life and all its rushing and buzzing really changed our perception of time. We finally had time to catch up with ourselves and each other,... More

Get away, off grid if you want in luxury canvas cottages. Set on a lovely farm with things to do for the kids like milking goats, collecting eggs and exploring the farm. Very friendly, comfortable and all you need for a relaxing week.

We took our 2 children with their partners on a memorable weekend, staying in Hares Form canvas cottage. The weather was mixed, mostly fine and... More
