A lovely campsite surrounded by woodland and nature with all the facilities you would need. Great Hot showers, regularly cleaned toilets and a large indoor area with sink, fridge, sockets etc. The owners Neville and Jane were very accomodating and were always willing to go the extra mile to ensure my trip was comfortable and most importantly enjoyed Highly recommend this campsite for anyone looking to get into nature rather than being surround by big RV's and predesignated camping spots. Thanks EdenNook Lewis
Stayed here for 3 nights as we where mountain biking around the area and I have to say the place is great the owners nev and Jane are lovely people who couldn't do enough for us this will be our regular campsite now as it's location is a great base for exploring snowdia range and North Wales and the facilities on site are great nice warm showers after a long muddy day riding was a blessing and a nice communal area to watch films and relax with other campers and also cook in the 12 seater bbq and fire hut what's more to ask for
My partner and I booked a pitch at Forest View on the spur of the moment for a short walking break around the Lake Vyrnwy area. For the price of £10 each, we really didn't expect that much. Located off the beaten track and away from traffic-noise, buildings and other sites, we arrived at the site and were immediately met by Neville and Jane who now live on site. After a very friendly and warm welcome, Jane showed us to our pitch (well, I say pitch, it was a lush, freshly mowed field with a 'pick-your-own-pitch policy). After which, we were shown around the site on foot, taking in all the amenities with a very thorough explanation or how it all worked before being left assured that if we had any issues then we simply had to call on our hosts for assistance. As it turned out, we wanted for nothing at the site. Views were perfect, shower block was very close, clean and warm, there was an indoor communal area with large screen tv and DVD selection, a roomy but cosy barbecue hut, outdoor fire pit and seating area and, kitchen facilities with stocked fridge/cupboard operating on an 'honesty-box' principle. There was also firewood, charcoal and fire-lighters available for a very reasonable sum! If you are looking to get away from it all to a small, picturesque site offering everything that you need and nothing you don't (on-site bar etc), then Forest View is a great choice. The only sounds you will hear will be the wildlife (and other campers perhaps) and the abundance of amazing walks in the vicinity will draw us back to this site for sure! For the total cost of £20 we thought this site (and our hosts, Jane and Neville) were absolutely brilliant!!…
