This hotel is an old coaching inn and has retained much of its character whilst having a very contemporary style. The rooms are all named after a famous George and each have a unique character. The restaurant is excellent and good value for the quality of food.

A group of 10 friends stayed 2 nights over the New Year. The hotel is reasonably priced with good food and excellent service. Although a little shabby and dated in decor (shortly to undergo renovation I believe) we all enjoyed ourselves immensely and all the staff were helpful and friendly. We were also offered a discounted extra night with added...

This is a nice reasonably priced hotel right in the centre of Huntingdon. Very hard to fault. Friendly staff, good breakfast and comfortable bed. The pillows in our room (5) need replacing though. We stayed on a Friday night and were kept awake by revellers in the street so it is best if you are a good sleeper. The staff...

A couple of weeks ago I visited the George for Sunday Lunch about 1:30 pm with friends. I had previously booked a table in the restaurant which, on arrival, they had no record of and wanted us to take a table in the bar which I refused mainly due to the barking dog at the next table. We were told...

It appears to be an old coaching inn, the staff are friendly, and helpful, large rooms, with thankfully good heating when I was there, as it was -2.5 outside in the morning. The decor and rooms could do with modernisation, but it's cheaper than many places to stay in the area. Breakfast was okay and served quickly. So no complaints,...

We stayed for one night as a family wedding was taking place in the venue. The room was large, there was a bath and the bed was comfy but the positives end there. Cold shower in the morning, no toilet brush and hair was found in the coffee dish. Breakfast the next day was a shambles. Very slow service, no...

Hubby and I just returned from a weekend in Huntington. Car parking is free as a guest of the hotel, always a bonus. Staff very friendly and helpful, room clean and tidy maybe a bit dated. Some parts of the hotel need a refurb but so do most smaller hotels. Breakfast was good however possibly be a good idea to...

Stayed at this hotel for one night as we were attending the Troutmaster fly fishing finals at Grafham. Easy to find using the sat nav and parked the car in the car park behind the hotel. It was a pay car park and thought we might have to but not to fear the parking is part of the hotel deal....
