At the last minute I was told to make a business trip to the UK. It appeared all the hotels in the area were booked, and the Ye Olde Globe ad Chequers came to my rescue. It was like luxury to have a nice quiet place to sleep at the end of a stressful day, and the bed was SOO...

This is a charming rural B&B with an attentive and friendly host. The location is very quiet which coupled with a comfortable bed made for a good nights rest. The breakfast was superb and plentiful. A lovely base for exploring the surrounding area.

Accommodation is in a seperate converted building, offering well equipped comfortable rooms. Breakfast is in the main house, provided by a welcoming host. It sits in a very quite and small village with very good resturants nearby. We used the nearby pub/resturant The George, Spaldwick which is very nice (see sperate review). We'd certainly be happy to return to this...

I had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful jewel while looking for a new house due to a job relocation. I stayed in the main house as I took the single room. There is also a tastefully restored barn which has double and larger rooms available. Due to my early-start work hours I only experienced Cheryll's gourmet breakfasts twice...

But I'm never one to pass up an opportunity to give praise when it's deserved and my goodness this place deserves it by the bucket full. We did however forego our breakfasts as we had such early starts each day so cannot comment on that. This is my second visit here and the rooms in the barn are delightful; new,...

I spent a couple of nights here whilst I attended an exhibition nearby but sadly had no time for their advertised full English breakfast but lovely rooms and I will search them out again for the next trip.

Stayed overnight in March (for some reason TA didn't want to publish my review!) and really you don't get much better than this. Pet friendly, secure parking, beautifully appointed rooms, a warm welcome from Cheryl and an excellent breakfast. With any luck I'll be able to book a room for 2015!

We stayed one evening at the Ye Olde globe & Chequers. The rooms are great (spacious, clean, quiet and cosy) and the service by Cheryll is really friendly, and she also cooks a really delicious full English breakfast! We would love to come back, it is perfect to spend a couple of relaxing days in the beautiful english countryside!

Stayed with Cheryl last weekend. Brilliant little B&B. Excellent accommodation with nice touches like proper jug of milk in fridge for refreshments and a selection of snacks available like chocolate etc for a small extra cost. We stayed in a family room and it is perfect to have a proper bed for a child and not some put up bed...

We have been staying with Cheryll at least once a month(sometimes twice) for the last five years and have never been disappointed. The accommodation is excellent and the breakfasts very good. The welcome is always warm and we would not consider staying anywhere else when we are in the area. Clare and Terry
