Nice hotel and good food but owners very disrespectful towards guests and blatantly rude. Fire evacuation woke us up on Sunday morning and 6 of us stood outside in pyjamas but no one came out to advise what was happening so I went in and asked if it was a false alarm but was told not sure, so when questioned...

Imagine the fire alarm has just sounded. We have identified the source as a piece of burning toast but we are just resetting the fire panel. A customer approaches my wife and introduces herself as "a qualified fire officer" and goes on to tell us why we should evacuate the property despite the fact there is no fire. Not surprisingly...

We had a family reunion in the hotel and were all very impressed. All the rooms were beautifully turned out with everything we needed, clean and comfortable. We ate our evening meal and breakfast here as well and the consensus of opinion was that it was all fabulous. We would all definitely return and have already recommended it!

Called in with my wife as part of a 50th birthday lunch. Following a very poor starter and main course at The Angel, Hetton just up the road we called in for dessert and coffee. It was worlds apart. We were greeted warmly, orders taken quickly with a smile. Food arrived swiftly and my wifes pudding arrived with a massive...

We decided to take friends for a Christmas get-together and were all happy with the choice. Excellent menu choices with something for everyone. One of our party tackled the large heifer pie and won, to everyone's surprise. All the staff were very friendly and the whole place had a nice atmosphere. We will definitely eat here again. Great for just...

The food and presentation was outstanding. I have recommended The Craven Heifer to people in the past and will carry on doing so as it is a lovely treat out :). Affordable prices for tasty perfect sized portions.

We love coming here for meals, my youngest daughter loves the Sunday carvery and says its her favourite place. My wife and I called for a quick lunch whilest in Skipton, we both had a sandwich with a bowl of chips and onions rings, very nice but my food of choice has to be the Heifer pie, full of meat...

we chose the Craven Heifer for a small family gathering after a funeral, arriving an hour earlier than our booking at 4pm. Although a little flustered the staff made us feel very welcome and lifted everyone's mood. Despite ordering different things off the menu the meals were brought out in good time and everyone enthused about how good it was...

Comfortable and clean room for one night with friendly staff. We thoroughly enjoyed an evening meal there and the continental breakfast was good and plentiful. It was in an ideal location for both Grassington and Skipton.

The best carvery ever (tasting, portions, quality, and value for money). Never had a bad meal here. Fast service and helpful staff. Plenty of choice for meat and vegetables. Great selection of local ales.
