Excellent hotel, excellent food and excellent location. Very convenient for station and the town centre, situated by the side of the canal - very picturesque. Hotel was very welcoming with a great relaxing bar. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Very clean. Deserves its 3 stars (and more!). Would recommend and would certainly go again.

Stayed in between Christmas and New Year; great location - lovely canalside walk into Skipton which is a charming town, refreshing to see independently owned shops as well as the high street favourites. Rooms at the hotel are comfortable and well furnished with free parking on site. Enjoyed a 'Bramble' cocktail in the bar during 'happy hour' - it was...

I chose Herriots hotel for my 30th birthday celebrations having popped in for a drink previously and liking it's proximity to the station for those travelling. Chris, the manager made the organisation incredibly easy, and dealt with any changes to the booking with complete efficiency. The rooms were to a good standard throughout. The sit down meal I'd booked in...
