Booked a 2 night break here and have to say it's a great place with a charming and witty owner. Staying in room 3 situated on the ground floor and it's not without its worldly charms and a divine comfortable bed, tastefully decorated with an oldie worldwide theme running through with some lovley old pieces of furniture. The room is...

Room and shower were good. Location is good. The breakfast was worst I've ever had. Too much choice - but all poor quality - eg stale cereal, weak coffee, large choice of juices, cereal and yogurts - but all unappetising because they were not chilled properly. Lack of cleanliness - eg spoons left in yoghurt pots overnight and served and...

We arrived at this supposedly '5star ' guest house and after ringing the doorbell were greeted with the worst welcome we had ever experienced in all our years of staying in hotels & guest houses . The house itself looked austere, dowdy & not at all like the pictures on the Internet . The house is built on a steep...

we stayed in this great B&B by accident after a hotel we had booked closed down without letting us know, managed to get a cancellation here. What a little belter too, its far more than a B&B in what it offers and can totally see why it has a 5 star rating. The rooms are excellent the whole place is...

Well what can I say, we stayed in executive room which was lovely and clean and very spacious with great toiletries shame about the small brown towels they need to be bath towels. The welcome we got was shocking , it was very clinical no greeting or smile just a process of taking details and paying. When shown to our...

This is a very nice B&B just 10 minutes walk from the town center. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The bathroom is very modern, and everything is very clean. The breakfasts are superb, with an excellent choice of cooked and continental. There is plenty of private parking.

Well-run hotel with friendly, helpful owner. Decor and furnishings appropriate for house of that era. Nearer to road than photo suggests but road noise not a problem because traffic quiet at night, and efficient glazing.

What a pleasure it was to stay with hazel. She was very knowledgeable on the local area and recommended places to go. Nothing was to much trouble, an everything we needed she supplied even a mobile phone charger cos I forgot mine. Its a beautiful old house lovingly furnished and decorated to a high standard. Every thing was spotless an...

This guest house is not the Ritz but the rooms are comfortable, well appointed and everything works. We took the twin-bedded room on the ground floor, which was large enough for our one-night stay. The towels were nice and fluffy and absorbent, good quality liquid soap and shampoo were provided and the shower produced a satisfying deluge of hot water....

Average stay. The room was nice and sizeable, the bed was very uncomfortable though - clearly needed the mattress replacing. The bathroom had everything you would need and was quite big. Breakfast had a nice spread, no nothing to write home about. It does what it says n the tin, but it's not going to be one to remember.
