We recently visited Cookstown for the first time and were very impressed by the Royal Hotel. The staff were courteous, helpful and couldn't do enough for us to make our stay more comfortable. The food was amazing and plentiful. Our visit coincided with renovations in the lobby/reception area that was a minor disruption but the management and staff were very... More

I've just recently had my Wedding Reception at the Royal Hotel and the whole day was amazing. From the day we placed our booking Tanya was so helpful and supportive with planning. Communication was excellent, given that I live in Scotland, this made the whole process of planning the wedding less stressful. On the day itself the hotel looked amazing,... More

What a great place for tasty food, lovely cocktails and excellent service to go with it. Visited recently and couldn't believe how great it looked after its refurbishment. Best strawberry daiquiri about for sure!!

Stayed mid week so hotel appeared quiet, which was nice. Room in need of updating but major renovations in progress so would love to go back and see finished product. Breakfast, basic but done the job. A little strange that no night porter/receptionist, just glad we didn't need anything. Would stay again.
