Beechgrove B&B, established in 1983, is a homely farmhouse set in 16 acres of working farmland and situated in rural countryside with superb views over the surrounding countryside and Belfast Lough. It is located centrally to all the major travel terminals, including bus, rail, airports and ferries. Beechgrove is a 3-star approved B&B. All rooms are fully ensuite with free Wi-Fi and free off-road private parking. Beechgrove is located approximately one mile outside the historic seaside town of Carrickfergus, with its Norman Castle and Church, Andrew Jackson Centre, and 'The Gas Works' which is Ireland's oldest preserved gasworks museum. We were recommended here and so glad that we were. We stayed 2 nights but had to change rooms for the second night. It was no trouble at all. The first room, unfortunately booked for the following night, was large, almost a suite, traditionally decorated and spotlessly clean.

Beechgrove is a nice B&B. It had everything we needed was in a lovey setting. Our only issue with the B&B was that it was not as friendly as we have come to expect from the other B&B’s we have stayed at. We were greeted warmly and made to feel comfortable and then our hosts

Mrs. Barron is a sweetheart! She was more than accommodating. Her home is spacious and beautiful. The rooms were fully stocked with bathroom necessities, hair dryers, and coffee/tea maker. Her breakfasts were delicious with the most choices I've experienced in any of the B&Bs
