Set against the backdrop of the Giant’s Causeway, Royal Portrush and Game of Thrones filming locations in Northern Ireland, The Bushmills Inn is the perfect retreat for those who crave the unconventional, yet still expect exceptional service. Originally a Coaching Inn in the 1600s, this 4 star boutique Hotel is steeped in Irish history with a myriad of places to hide from the world. There are all day dining options available in the AA Rosette restaurant which include a day menu, afternoon tea, dinner menu and bar bites, as well as a traditional gas bar (still lit by gaslight). Step back to a time steeped in charm. From inglenook turf fires to hayloft snugs, there’s something to find behind every door. The welcome is warm and the fire always lit.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Just returned from an overnight stay in The Bushmills Inn which was very relaxing. From initial booking to checkout the whole experience was excellent. Our room was spotless, very comfortable bed, refurbished bathroom, Nespresso coffee maker, tea, biscuits etc. the toiletries provided were also of a matching high standard. We were able to relax in front of a roaring fire while having a pre dinner drink. Service and food in the restaurant was top class. This hotel has been taken over by new owners recently and it seems they have taken a very good hotel and made it even better. Would plan to return in the New Year.

Just back from another visit to our favourite hotel in Norn Iron As usual all the staff from reception bar and service were brilliant We had a couple of small issues which as usual were dealt with promptly I really can’t recommend this hotel as highly We’ve been to 5 star hotels all over the world and honestly the staff are second to none Well done the management for the training as this does not happen by accident The village of Bushmills should and I’m sure are really proud of their young ones as nearly all the staff are from within the village How many hotels can say that

Thoroughly recommend this hotel for service, the comfort of the bedroom we were allocated and the food/drink. Early check-in wasn't a problem for the oh-so-helpful reception staff and the two dinners and breakfasts we enjoyed at Bushmills were excellent. Attentive and friendly staff was the icing on the cake.

This is one of the nicest hotels in Ireland. We had stayed here almost 20 years ago and it's still a first class experience. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. We dined at the hotel restaurant for dinner and we were very pleased. The breakfast service is elegant and delicious. Walking distance to the Bushmills distillery and short drives to Mussenden, Duluce Castle and the Giant's Causeway. Highly recommended.

Difficult to fault anything. This was our first visit and the room was superb, the food excellent and staff super friendly. Lovely, cosy bar with great music on the night was the icing on the cake. Loved our stay.

Another wonderful stay at this hotel. Reception staff very welcoming and showed us to our room. The room itself is in keeping with the rest of the hotel, very olde worldly but with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Small window above the bed meant a lovely breeze into the room which otherwise may have felt very warm. We had a light bite in the bar in the afternoon, which was very good and nicely presented. We didn’t eat in the restaurant this time around. Breakfast is made to order with a good selection of cooked options. Great stay with very pleasant staff. Looking forward to our next visit.

Great place for a quiet weekend getaway. Close to beach -with some lovely local shops - their attention to service and great food shines through. This was our second visit and it didn’t disappoint at all.

I visited the Bushmills Inn on a work trip with colleagues, I didn't know what to expect. I was blown away by the place. So much character and uniqueness with the right balance of modern and fresh. The staff were outstanding and the food blew me away. Unfortunately I didn't get to visit much of the area but I'm already planning a trip to return for leisure this time.

My wife and I spent one night in the Bushmills Inn. Reception staff were very nice and showed us to our room. Accommodation in a deluxe room was excellent. Evening meal and breakfast were first class with plenty of choice. A really enjoyable break.
