We had a wonderful time with Liz and company at the Barn. Liz is not only a collector of stories, but also a collector of very interesting and warm people. We were invited to a fund raiser for the Red Squirrel Preservation Society, and had a great session in the barn on Saturday night. We had great craic, and really...

The Ballyeamon barn is a cosy comfortable place to stay. Liz and her coworkers welcomed us warmly, and we immediately felt at home. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathrooms are nice. The barn is located in a beautiful area, great for walking trips in the forest!

If I needed something, someone was always there to answer my question or assist me. I would most definitely recommend staying at this place! It will not...

Liz shared her time, passion and unbridled joy for the region plus some great stories. The Hostel is located in a serene country side not far from the...

We stayed in the apartment and were very comfortable. Liz is very warm, welcoming, and helpful. The location is beautiful and very close to many amazing sites. We felt very fortunate to have spent time here. And the Saturday gathering of music and stories was a treat!

I have stayed here on numerous occasions, each time better than the one before! My daughter came with me this time. We stayed in the appartment, the facilities are brilliant, the beds spotless and comfortable. We could have tea and coffee anytime we wanted, and we cooked in the well equipped kitchen each evening. But what's makes this hostel special...

The hostel is full of old world charm but is comfortable and cosy. It is set in one of the most beautiful and less known parts of Ireland. The village nearby has top class cafes and restaurants. I love this place.

Set in breathtaking surroundings its a fantastic base to explore the irish countryside. The host Liz is a special person, a storyteller by trade and has a heart of gold. The weekly music sessions are a wonderful mix of local and international cultures.
