Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Spent the weekend in Cullentra House and I cannot recommend this B&B highly enough. Olive greeted us at the door and made us feel so welcome. Our room was absolute luxury, comfortable bed, en-suite bathroom, tea-coffee making facilities inc little treats, fridge, plush bedding & spotlessly clean, everything you could have wanted and more. Olive offered us a lift into town and would collect us again, I have never had service like this anywhere before. Then the breakfast, where do I start, fruit juice, fruit, granola, yoghurt, full Irish breakfast cooked exactly how you like, freshly made wheaten, scones the list goes on, I’m sure I have forgotten something there was so much. I can assure you will never find anything that comes close to this beautiful B&B ever, stunning sea views and excellent hosts. Olive & James you were excellent hosts and we will be rebooking and recommending you to family and friends. It’s clear to see how you have won the awards.

We stayed here in the coldest weekend for manys a year but got the warmest welcome from Olive at the Cullentra, even with snow all over Cushendall she ran us into the village and collected us again both nights. The house is immaculate, her attention to detail is exceptional, this is the best B&B we have ever stayed in, the breakfast would match any 5* Hotel, it is to die for, Olive and James are fantastic hosts, this will now be our go to along the north antrim coast, a real hidden gem down the Glens.

I have wrote many reviews on trip adviser however have to say this has been the best value for money ever Our hosts Olive and James were brilliant and continuously went the extra mile including dropping us off and picking us up from Johnny joes in the village (best Guinness and snug room superb) The views are spectacular and the full Irish breakfast comes with a huge pot of tea or coffee, toast, smoothly starter granola and toast Olive and James are one in a million hosts and so informative and helpful It’s also a great base to explore all the sights such Giants causeway I so wished we could have stayed longer

Olive and James are fantastic hosts. They welcomed us in and made us feel right at home. They went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. My travel companion suffered a back injury while driving and Olive called a physiotherapist she knows and made an appointment. Incredible service! The breakfast is out of this world also - the brown bread and scones are homemade and delicious. James is great with directions and will point you to a lovely spot to visit. Overall, we couldn't have been happier with our stay there! Thank you again!

Excellent B&B with very friendly and informative hosts. Great breakfasts and clean and bright, what more can you ask for? The house, with good views towards the sea, is ideally situated for visits along the Antrim coast.

Excellent experience. Here for business but perfect place for a mini-break. Picturesque area and beautiful view from the property. Good options for dinner in Cushendall. A warm welcome and offer of tea/coffee on arrival. Friendly and generous hosts, going above and beyond expectations. Spacious comfortable room, with comfortable bed and pillows. Spotlessly clean. Great selection for breakfast with Olive taking time to understand my choices. Food was well presented and absolutely delicious. Home baking amazing! Thank you for everything Olive :)

Olive and James were wonderful hosts who richly deserve the many accolades they’ve received for their B&B. I did not advise Olive of my exact arrival time due to connectivity problems, but nonetheless she immediately offered me and the other guests there a delicious tea with homemade bread and cakes when I arrived. The bedroom was extremely comfortable and quiet, and Olive asked me very specifically about what I wanted for breakfast, which I greatly appreciated. Again, the breakfast was absolutely delicious. When I mentioned that I was planning to attend an event in town that night, Olive offered to drive me there and pick me up afterwards, which was a great favor as I was nervous about navigating the road in the dark. This was exceptionally kind on her part after a busy day looking after guests. She also gave me excellent advice about sights to see nearby. The house itself has beautiful views and is extremely comfortable. I was sorry that I only was able to stay one night, but I hope to return.

James and Olive are delightful hosts. They spoiled us. They are two genuinely kind, caring, and loving people. The place is SPOTLESS. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious. We did not want to leave. We travel frequently and I cannot remember loving a stay as much as this one. We cannot wait to go back!
