This is the email I sent management which they haven't had the decency to reply. I wanted to inform you that I am rather disappointed with my stay. I understand that this is a very busy time for you all in the hotel but I do think that the service has been some what disappointing. I would have thought with prices that people have paid to stay, I feel the attention has been directed mostly to the main bar. Last nights meal we had one starter delivered when two was ordered, I appreciate the apology but the one starter was left while we had to wait for the other. We ordered a bottle of wine and we had to ask for it when our starters had been delivered. I am a vegetarian and as decent the food was i felt that it was a little bland, the dish was supposed to have had roasted vegetables but the chef must have run out as it was 80% broccoli. I think the chef could invent some flavoursome and adventurous dishes. When we went to leave we were told we couldn't take our wine glasses out of the restaurant which shocked me as I had seen others walking out with their glasses and a bottle of wine . If I knew I had to drink my wine out of a plastic container I wouldn't have spent £18 on a good bottle of wine. I feel Staff in the restaurant have been very friendly and attentive which I praise highly. I feel that the reception team should have informed me that our room would have camper vans parked outside our bedroom window, (as I assume this was a private group related to someone in the hotel) and that there could be a possibility of noise from children running around playing, to which i wonder if a risk assessment was done, If I had been informed of this I would not have booked.  As I said before, I understand this is a very busy time but when a person pays over £500 for a stay I believe standards should be higher. A thought for next year, those staying at the hotel could have wristbands throughout the entire time so they can be treated as guests and not a Joe Blogs from of the street, which may result in good customer care to your residents and not think about lining your back pockets.

Cannot review the hotel as I didn't stay. But the bar is a total rip off £ 6 a pint and you get it in a plastic glass . I asked for a glass and they refused to give me one this was when your sitting inside the bar. I can understand a plastic glass outside .Better to stay at home 😡

Staff are still friendly and happy to help, but rooms are getting a little tired and food is just OK, especially breakfast which seemed a lot rushed. Still a good base to explore the North Coast, but pricy for what you get.

Nice Inn, very friendly front desk staff. Delicious food, including a full Irish breakfast. Rooms are adequate, bathrooms likewise. Condition of the hotel is very good. Location is nice for exploring the north coast. Recommended.

We stayed here for three nights with our little dog. The staff were so polite, welcoming and friendly. The room was very spacious, dog friendly and the room was made up every day. Comfortable beds and plenty of comfy pillows. We both enjoyed the breakfasts, plentiful and lovely quality. We stayed for one evening meal, I had the steak which was cooked to perfection and I'd go back for that alone! Dog friendly places are certainly becoming a lot easier to find now, which is great and you could certainly do a lot worse than stay at Inn on the Coast. While not the cheapest in the area, its really well situated and the staff and food are lovely. We found most places in Portrush to be dog friendly so we're going back for another break next month.

I don't want to diss a restaurant....but this place is being let down...wanted a steak. How hard is that? How many restaurants can't knock out a properly cooked steak. Wasn't even on menu Had taco instead (but I wanted STEAK)....I'm not a primadonna...this is basic stuff tacos were good... Limited menu....Great location / should be soooo much better

We had booked the Inn on the Coast for overnight stay, and had a booking in the local Tides restaurant.we were asked at reception did we wish to book a table in the restaurant,we stated this was not required. The receptionist then told us there were new terms and conditions for dogs staying in the room , and to read them. We read the terms and conditions and were very annoyed, the hotel had become unfriendly ,we could not leave the dog in the room ,there would be a fine if dog hair found.and a stain from a dog was a larger fine. Dogs that had a dog smell would be asked to leave. Our trip was completely spoilt,we will not be back. These terms and conditions should be put online, but bookings will stop if they do

Hotel in very good location, 20 mins from Giants Causeway. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was average. There was plenty of parking. We really enjoyed our stay and it was very good value for money.

We booked a one night stay for a much needed break and because the Inn on the Coast is one of the few hotels which welcomes dogs. I had concerns that the hotel would be overrun with badly behaved dogs. It wasn’t. I was worried it would smell of dogs. It didn’t. The staff were so friendly and efficient, and they all loved our dog. The food was good. It wasn’t haute cuisine but it was good pub grub. There was a really good spread for breakfast and everything was fresh and freshly cooked. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the room had everything we needed. I have no hesitation recommending the Inn on the Coast.

The friendly team make you feel very welcome. My room was spacious and very clean. I enjoyed having a nice hot bath. The Guinness was excellent. Breakfast was very good. I tried the full version but opted for bacon eggs mushrooms and toast on the second morning as I knew anything else would be too much! The location was ideal for visiting Giant's Causeway, Dunluce Castle etc.
