Simply stunning. That’s essentially all I need to say about this place. I was there in March to celebrate my nieces wedding. The drive up to the venue was breathtaking in itself and when I actually saw the house, I was blown away. What a beautiful place for the beautiful bride and groom. On arrival the staff were very attentive and one of them took my overnight bag from me and took it direct to the room that I was staying in. He then gave me a very quick tour which considering he was obviously very busy was a nice touch. The moon garden provided the perfect backdrop for the percent romantic ceremony. There were many tears from all those gathered as we shared in the happy couples journey from their first date to this day. Then it was back to the house for a few drinks and the cutting of the cake. Again the fun, people focused Master of Ceremonies kept everyone on track and ensured we were being looked after. And then after an afternoon of chatting to old friends and new, we went to the marquee in the walled garden for the wedding meal. Again, this looked amazing. Lights shining and lots of space for everyone. And what can I say about the actual meal..it was delicious. Every course was perfect. Considering there was so many covers to do, the quality on every single plate was first rate. Speaking to people throughout the evening, everyone agreed that this was easily the best meal they had at a wedding. Throughout the night, we danced and sang and generally had an amazing Irish wedding. I stayed in the Blue Room and this was a lovely room to rest in after such a busy day. Looking out over the gardens in the morning as the sun was rising was the perfect tonic to start the next day. This started with a delicious cooked Irish breakfast. Again the quality of the produce served was second to none. A word on the staff: an absolute credit to Drenagh and the manager, fellow Ballymena man Chris. They helped with every query, made time to have a chat and generally went the extra mile to make the day as special as it turned out to be. Drenagh House and estate is a truly special place. I would say it is THE place to get married. To witness my niece get married here is a memory I will always have. Thanks to Chris and everyone at Drenagh for making this day so special. It was simply sensational from start to finish.

Our wedding was the most perfect day and such an integral part of making it was Drenagh. It would be a struggle to find a more beautiful venue that ticks all the boxes that Drenagh Estate does. We fell in love with Drenagh on our first visit. It’s just breathtaking. The staff are so friendly and encouraging. The planning process was made so simple and despite having the difficulty of postponing and navigating the constantly changing regulations of COVID, relatively stress free. We were lucky to avoid covid restrictions on the day and were able to have the wedding that we dreamed of! Myself and bridesmaids put on our dresses and final touches in the bridal suite and the groom and his party got dressed in the allocated grooms room! It was the perfect setting. The moon garden was so romantic and the marquee the perfect setting for dinner and dancing! Everything about Drenagh was just amazing from the beauty of setting, the food, the service and the atmosphere and flexibility! The staff at Drenagh create the best experience and we have to say a special thanks to them, Gail, Debbie, Gareth and Brain to name a few! We are so thankful to Drenagh and everyone of the staff that helped make our day so special!

From the first day I contacted the staff at Drenagh House the service was nothing short of absolutely fabulous! We emailed in February to enquire about our date and the ladies in the estate office were absolutely fabulous. We went for our initial viewing and met Debbie, a complete lady, who couldn’t have done more for us. We booked the date for 10 short months later and the rest is history!
We had countless visits to the house with different family members and vendors who wanted to view it before the day and, of course, nothing was ever a problem. Joanne, Debbie and Gail were so attentive and, no matter what question I had, they were always at the end of the phone to help me out - 5 star service!
From the drop off the day before, with Gareth and Marcin, we just felt so at ease. Gareth was with me through the whole drop off appointment, as was Marcin, who let the boys sample the draught beer that be had specially installed for us (not to mention the Prosecco to keep us going too). I knew that everything was in the best hands leaving that day.
When we arrived on the wedding day, Drenagh had staff at the entrances informing our guests on directions and where to park, carried all our guests luggage to their rooms and made sure everyone had a drink coming through the doors. The food was absolutely out of this world! The beef and duck that had been recommended to us completely exceeded expectations! The service was outstanding and nothing was a problem. The MC, Brian, was literally like my second bridesmaid. I felt I knew him my whole life! He is absolutely fabulous to say the least.
Victoria is another lady I have to mention! Our guests are still talking about the craic they had with her into the small hours. An absolute super star who ran the bar like clockwork from start to finish. Again, not one thing was a problem no matter what we requested (and we had a few strange requests towards the end of the night)! Victoria came to see us the next morning at breakfast, as did Gareth, Marcin, Joanne and Gail.
To the wider staff of Drenagh, who maybe we didn’t get to know on a 1:1 basis, thank you! The bar staff, the waiters, the house keepers and chefs were simply amazing.
I left the next morning so happy with my decision to choose Drenagh House as our wedding venue. I left with a hug from the staff and promised myself I’d take the time to leave them the outstanding review that they deserve. If you’re considering Drenagh, book it! I promise you, you won’t be disappointed.

An absolute dream of a venue 🖤 We got married at Drenagh on the 1st of June 2023, and we genuinely had BETTER than our dream wedding day. This venue is utterly faultless, from the moment we arrived in the morning it felt like stepping into our very own wee fairytale. Every single member of staff made us so welcome, and nothing was too much trouble. I think most brides stress about the little details, timings, etc. but not if you get married at Drenagh- everyone working behind the scenes do all the hard work for you making sure everything is perfect, whilst still maintaining a chilled, happy and totally stress free vibe. Every guest whole heartedly agreed that the food was out of this world, from the wedding meal, to the evening supper and the breakfast the following morning. The house, the moon garden, marquee and walled garden with surrounding grounds is truly magical, and it blew our guests away as much as it did us the first time we visited this venue, there’s just so much to take in and enjoy- complete with the sound and company of peacocks, what more could you want! What a truly magical place, had the most fantastic weekend here, highly recommend it for anyone wanting a perfect location for that special occasion.

My wife and I got married at Drenagh this month and I cannot recommend this venue enough. From start to finish the day was incredible. We held the ceremony in the moon garden and it was amazing.
The staff were all fantastic, they catered to not just our every need but also our guests. In particular the event co-ordinator Brian, he was unbelievable. Every guest at the wedding absolutely loved him and he created a great atmosphere with his ability to address the room. We hadn’t met Brian prior to the wedding day but we are sooo glad he MC’d the event.
After the night do, we were taken back to the main house by car and the night staff were super accommodating. Nothing was to much for them. We couldn’t fault anything about drenagh or the staff.
If you are getting married and considering this venue, definitely choose it! You won’t regret it

Where do I start?! From the moment we visited Drenagh last year as a potential wedding venue we knew we had found the perfect place. The thing I loved most about Drenagh was the exclusivity as well as having 3 separate areas for the 3 different parts of the day, each ideallic for its purpose.
Gayle was absolutely excellent throughout the process of planning and on the day, giving so much support and being great with every detail. I wouldn't have changed a thing about our wedding day, it was simply perfect. Brian was instrumental to the time we had, from keeping everyone entertained to helping calm any nerves. Gareth made sure we were all ok and kept us in criac! Mairtín and Debbie were a very calming influence and made sure everything was running well. Aga was so lovely when we arrived, nothing was too much trouble for her and she made us all feel very welcome. Victoria was waiting for us all when the evening reception finished with tea, coffee and cake which was so much appreciated.
All of the Drenagh team have hosting weddings down to a really fine art, they were all so attentive and really exceeded my expectations and all of the guests expectations too.

We rented out Drenagh for our small, 15 person wedding. The estate itself is lovely, timeless and magical. Everything from the house/decor, to the grounds, to the moon garden and even the animals just enhanced the experience. Our wedding group stayed the night in the mansion and the rooms were perfect, beautiful, and most importantly comfortable. In fact all of guest couldn't get over how lovely Drenagh was as they explored the house and grounds.
We were so well taken care of by everyone that our day was flawless. I would like to give a special thank you to Agga who saved my wrinkled dress and to Gareth who ensured everything and everyone was in the proper place at the right time. The food was delicious, the estate was gorgeous, and the staff was impeccable. We would not change even the tiniest of details. The minute we arrived all of the wedding day stress melted away as they took everything into their very capable hands.
Thank you to everyone who made our small wedding an absolute dream. If you are considering Drenagh, just do it, you will not be disappointed!

From the moment we all drove into Drenagh estate, up the winding avenue, our daughter and her fiancé fell in love with the location. The wedding planner, Debbie, could not have been more accommodating. Joanne, was also available to go through all the details in person with us and take many of our queries over the phone.
The staff are wonderful, a planning document guides the wedding party through the whole decision process with agreed timetable commitments for all the arrangements.
On the wedding day, the Drenagh team provided the complete wrap-around package , a truly memorable experience for all involved, wedding party and guests. Brian the MC looked after our guests, entertaining them with interesting facts about the estate and funny stories. Gareth and Marcin took care of all the customised extras, ensuring personal items were returned in perfect condition.
The marque accommodated the ceilidh, providing lots of space for dancing with wild Scottish men!
Breakfast in the house the next morning was very relaxing, a great reunion and catch up for the wedding group in the most wonderful setting. Certainly, a day to remember, l cannot thank each one of the Drenagh team enough. Just Perfect!

We were married in Drenagh on the 5th of April 2022, and I can't recommend this venue enough if you are planning a wedding.
I always dreamed of having a small wedding, and had actually sent my now husband pictures of Drenagh when we were 18, telling him if we ever got married that I wanted to be married there and my dreams were made a reality this year.
We had a small wedding of 23 people and the staff at Drenagh made it the most perfect day. We had a magical ceremony in the Moon Garden which is unlike anywhere I have ever been before, it is the most stunning and romantic setting. The rest of our day was all within the main house which is the most luxurious and beautiful setting you could imagine- photos, although stunning, don't capture its character and beauty.
Gayle was our wedding planner and I feel so blessed that we were in her safe hands. From the moment we met her she was bursting with great ideas and advice and no matter what we asked for, nothing was a problem! Even ensuring my grandad's favourite whiskey was behind the bar!
Gareth was there for us every step of the way during set up, again nothing was an issue and we really felt supported and that our day would go smoothly under his supervision. Along with his professionalism, Gareth was just a joy to be around and he ensured all of our ceremony items, favours, settings and small details were set up to perfection!
On the morning of our wedding we were welcomed by Aga, who was just beautiful! From endless cups of tea, to hanging the dresses. to ironing my brother in laws shirt, no task was too big or small for her and it was incredible to have her experience and support!
Our master of ceremonies, Brian, was incredible, I wish I could take him home with me. Every single person commented that he was so kind, friendly, welcoming, funny and all round amazing person. Brian was on hand all throughout the day and ensured everything ran smoothly. He was there every time we needed him and even added decorations to our table setting to make it even more perfect. His positive attitude and excellent attention to detail was mind-blowing and we felt so well looked after all day, as did every one of the guests. Brian is a major reason our day was as magical as it was.
We also had the pleasure of having Marcin and Victoria on our day, who both were so thoughtful and kind, ensuring my grandparents always had an arm to link on to to keep them steady, or keeping the wine flowing throughout dinner. Their mannerisms and attention to our guests was just perfect!
I really hope I didn't forget anyone but I really just want to get across that everyone in Drenagh ensured we had the most perfect day, and I feel lucky to say that our wedding day was the best day of our lives thanks to Drenagh, and my teenage dreams literally came true!
If you are thinking of booking Drenagh for your wedding, do it! You will not regret it and will have an unforgettable day!

Thank you for your enquiry regarding weddings here at Drenagh.
We have a bar here and a wine list for our couples to choose their drink options from for their meal. Thereafter guests can purchase drinks at the bar.
Regarding accommodation there is a hotel (Roe Park Limavady) less than a five minute drive away and couple of other hotels. We also have a guste information sheet that we give you to put in with your invitations with links to local accommodation. This is very useful.
