Newly converted range of old farm buildings around courtyard. On the outskirts of the historic town of Bradford on Avon. The barns are well placed to visit nearby Bath, Salisbury and Bristol as well as many more local attractions. Just a short stroll from the boating, canoeing, cycling and walking opportunities on the Kennet and Avon Canal Widbrook Barns offer a comfortable and peaceful stop over, good food and plenty of outside space for morning coffee in the sun or a bottle of wine on warm evenings. Breakfast "worth getting up for" is served in the Tuck Barn and offers both traditional fare and some interesting options to start your day

We stayed only one night, but wished we could stay more. Rooms are nice and cozy, breakfast is great (halloumi cheese was delicious!) and the hosts are really friendly! Definitely will recommend to friends and family looking to stay in the area!

the rooms are good, the service of the staff is bad. I do not recommend it. the hotel is empty and we were taken out of the room to check out 11 o'clock. We had to wait outside for the taxi. We ask to be in the room until the taxi arrives and the answer was No. With the hotel

Response from DandJane, Owner at Widbrook Barns B&B

Hello Emillano We are of course pleased you were happy with your rooms, your breakfast and most aspects of the Bed and Breakfast we offer at Widbrook Barns Clearly you are upset (very upset) regarding our check out times/policy. Myself and my staff are totally committed to offering the very best service we can to our guests, if there are issues relating to the service we will do our best to resolve the issues or at least talk such issue though in the hope that understanding is reached. To try and restore your confidence in what we offer I would like to reply to the issues in your T/A contribution In common with all hotels/B&Bs there is a check out time clearly stated on the booking details and in the room book. Our check out time is 11.00 on the day of departure; this is a fairly standard time. My staff asked you if you would like to vacate your bedroom at 11.30 and await your taxi sitting in our very comfortable dining room with coffee or indeed as you chose soft drinks (free of charge) Yes when you left your room there were no other guest on site, this is not a factor affecting check out time as our evenings guests are welcome to check in from 14.00, they, as you, will rightly expect to check in to a fully serviced clean room. In order to achieve the highest standard of cleanliness of our rooms we need a period of time between check out and check in times. It is not uncommon for guest to request a later check out time or indeed an earlier check in time, more often then not we are able to make this work for our guests. On other occasions guests are happy to vacate their bedrooms and make use of the common areas or in the summer take advantage of the outside seating areas in the gardens. It is also the case that you did wait in the comfort of the dining room, with drinks (FOC) warm and comfortable and not outside until you taxi arrived at 12.15. Emiliano, I am truly upset that you feel we did not make you feel looked after, I think you may have not fully understood the policy. Please let me know if I can explain this anymore then the above.

Beautiful room, very warm and plenty of room for 4 in Swallows and Amazon’s with a little camp bed. Shower and toilet en suite with coffee and tea making facilities too. There’s a little kitchen too with fridge and microwave to store basics which is helpful when travelling

We had an overnight stay at the weekend and you just cant fault this B&B. The rooms are very quaint and are all in a lovely setting. I dont think I have ever stayed in a room that was so clean and spotless. It looked like we were the 1st people to ever stay in the room. The

We have just returned from a one night stay and cannot compliment the staff, owner and the B&B enough. The rooms were spotlessly clean and had everything you could want. They were warm, which at this time of the year was brilliant, comfortable and a lovely place to return to
